Amazing location
Reviewed By ludu_madaA perfect location with beautiful landscape. They offer heated outside pool, access to the lake, saunas and inside pool, billiard and games. They have a playground for kids inside and outside. The air in Colibita is very fresh and healthy. The rooms are spacious, clean, the bed comfortable. What I did not like was the loud music on the terrace, which we were able to hear in our rooms until late at night and early in the morning, even with our window closed.The staff at the restaurant was very nice and professional but the service was a bit slow. My impression was that they were too few for the amount of clients. In spite of this, the food was excellent, my personal compliments to the chef.

The best stop on our road trip to Romania
Reviewed By DemetraMontrealThis year we decided to take a road trip to Romania and chose to stay at various guest houses (called “pensiune”), being told that these places are quiet compared with big hotels. Our choice was based on reviews found on Trip Advisor and other sites. Were they right? Let’s see our real life experience. Strong points: 1. Location – Great, in the centre of Sangeorz. You could get a room with a view to the nice park, quiet alleys, beautiful trees and during early morning some very cute squirrels. A stroll along this park would always be a pleasure. 2. Owners – Friendly and polite. Not invasive, but helpful. 3. Cleanliness – not only rooms, but also the whole building: Absolutely perfect. Rarely seen even in mega hotels. Spotless! 4. Quietness: extreme and much appreciated. 5. Room: clean, not very big, simple bathroom with shower. Good enough. Fridge in the room, huge advantage! 6. Outside pool: clean, but small, in fact as mentioned when booking! Courtyard with nice grass, tables, chairs, place for a barbecue and sunbeds for a pleasant sunbath. 7. Excellent restaurant nearby: Mega Park (about 300 m away): low prices, great food quality and quantity, great choice of food, very quick service, waiters polite and smiling. Very professional place. Would definitely want to dine there every day. No warning about allergens in food though…contrary to the present law! Limitations: 1. No air conditioning in the room, but this is not a requirement for a guest house in Romania. However, during very hot nights and no wind, even with the window open, pretty difficult to breathe. Bring with you an air cooler and this issue would be solved! 2. Breakfast, included in the price: Extremely scarce on the 1st day, fabulous on the next one. The last one should be kept in order to become a very strong point. In fact, this is how people start their days. If on holiday, breakfast should be a real pleasure. Coffee should be at discretion and have multiple choices, not only espresso. 3. Outside pool, even though heated, has pretty cold water. 4. There are not many things to do in the area – monastery “Cormana”, which was closed anyway when we wanted to visit (about 11ish am) and a small waterfall “Cheilor”. 5. Wi-Fi only on paper, not really working Conclusion: We would highly recommend this guest house for a short stop – 2-3 days. Seems the best maintained from what we saw in the area. Good value for money.

Reviewed By Xavier AIs a very simple place and very cheap but is a great surprise as it is very clean, food is good. Not all workers speak english but some speak spanish. However they do as best as they can to understand and help you. You have a toilet and shower outside the room but for your only use.

Reviewed By George GAfter a bad experience at a nearby resort we have stumbled upon this little piece of heaven. The food was an absolute delight and also was the staff. Do try the papanași! Highly recommend when you are nearby.

Im Zimmer fehlten Ablagen und Aufhängemöglichkeiten sowie Verdunkelungen an den Dachfenstern. Im Pool war kein Wasser, das Internet nur im unteren Flur erreichbar. Kartenzahlung war nicht möglich. Ein Lichtblick war die deutschsprechende Köchin, diese konnte einige Dinge "retten"
