Went for a late afternoon lunch after wine tastings. The well trained staff were professional and friendly. The food was good and the pizza can be recommended. Lovely deck with a view over the dam.

In the heart of the winelands this quaint little wine bar is the perfect place to unwind after a busy day. Offering all the wines that the Bartinney winery produces (whites, reds, roses and MCC), craft beers and a small selection of wine based cocktails, there is something for everyone. Most of their wines are available per glass or bottle and they also have snacks that you can order. In the winter the inside seating area is perfect with a warm and cozy atmosphere, and in summer they have the classic "French cafe" seating at small tables on the side walk.

We enjoyed a spectacular lunch at the Red Leaf Bistro. It was our daughters birthday and the day was made extra special by our superb waitron, Christolene. The food , service and wine were outstanding. From the delicious garlic focaccia to the calamari/chorizo salad to the baked cheesecake.....delectable & this was the meal of only 1 member of our party.Highly recommend this gem on the R304.

It isn't the best place we ate in Stellbosch, but to give it it's due, it was pretty darn good and the atmosphere was very nice. Service was average. We had the Carpaccio, Lamb chops, and a steak. All were prepared and presented well. Glad we went.

This restaurant takes you straight to Italy, no wonder, there is a brilliant Italian chef in the kitchen!The menu is on a black board and it changes daily depending on what is fresh and available. There is the typical anti pasto, primi and secondi.Every course that we have enjoyed here has been brilliant.The service staff are fabulous and the local wines are brilliant.Finish off with grappa..... and if they have grappa ice cream, leave space for this treat!

Attractive outside area with kiddies Jungle Gym and a good tasting facility inside.We didnât taste on this occasion but from previous experience wines are good.Menu is primarily pizza and we tried the unusual but delicious oxtail and butternut.Service was good and a glass of Faithful Hound was very nice.Prices very reasonable and we will return.

This place is child friendly and very beautiful for a picnic by the view. They provide a nice picnic basket (vegetarian option as well) and you can choose to sit on the grass on their lawn and enjoy the afternoon. Thereâs a playground and a little fountain pool for the kids to play in.

The restaurant at Jordan Wine Estate Stellenbosch did themselves proud last night, with a fabulous 5 course pure plant based dinner. The two mains, as seen, included herb infused quinoa with cruciferous vegetables, and stuffed zucchini on a bed of a delicious tomato puree, with smoked brussels and olives. The two starters included a veg wonton in a broth, with sprouts and shoots, and a pea puree base with beetroot in various guises. While the sorbet didn't live up to the indulgent heaven of the previous dishes, it did end the meal on a lighter note. My only negative is that at this point in history, pure plant based options shouldn't be a thing - why aren't they on the menu? (Anyone can eat plant based options, so one can easily ditch the vegetarian offering) Excellent service all round, and the pumpkin seed pesto with my breads was very good indeed!

A lovely breakfast out on the deck over looking the vineyards. Tasty salmon and poached egg breakfast. Followed by wine tasting - great wines with a huge selection.
