We were staying very near here and visited it several times. Good place if you are a football fan, lots of EPL games.Excellent selection of beers especially if you are fed up with the local lager. The wine reasonable but not great. Had both the brisket and the pulled pork, both were very tasty and a good sized portion. Nuts were provided whilst drinking or waiting for dinner. Sometimes the music was a bit melancholy. But if you ask nicely they will change it.Toilets clean and well maintained. It would have been great if they had taken credit/debit card. Overall throughly enjoyed both food and beers. Worth a visit? Yes indeed.

Visited twice this trip; once for cocktails in the wine bar downstairs, and another night for dinner upstairs. The ambiance in the slightly upscale (for Hoi An) wine bar is chilled and relaxed, with unobtrusive house music as an accompaniment. The only very small thing was the proximity to the street traffic if sitting at the front of the wine bar. The drinks themselves we thoroughly enjoyed; a reasonable choice of cocktails and wine by the glass - all also reasonably priced. Our return for dinner was a quieter and more refined experience upstairs. Our food was outstanding - particularly the fresh and deep fried spring rolls for entree, as well as the caramelised fish claypot we had as a main. The chef also made us a fantastic tiramisu for dessert; a tough ask most places! The accompanying wine was lovely (hubby had a fantastic Pinot Gris, which I normally find bland and uninteresting), and the service was both attentive and unobtrusive. The music upstairs was also 'just right'. We appreciated the attention from the manager; she ensured that we were happy with everything before allowing us to pay. We would definitely return!

A beautiful rooftop terrace on level 1 of the Hoi An cloth market. Overlooking the frenetic activities of the street market below, it offers some of the best people watching in Hoi An. With an extensive wine list, craft beers & chill out music, it's not t

This is a mixed review. First night we visited it was fantastic. We met one of the business owners (we think). Great food, great wine, great service and a great vibe. this was one of our best nights in Hoi An. Next night completely different. Half bar “reserved” for a party. Service average, wanted more drinks but ignored, food not as good, instead of fresh white baguette that we enjoyed first night as per menu we had brown (?spelt) bread? Not great as bruschetta or with garlic mushrooms. One bruschetta tasted off which we left with no one asking why. This was our worst night in Hoi An in a week. Limited seating unless you want to sit in a row overlooking the street, which is ok for a couple but not great as a family. 5/5 first night and 1/5 second. Not cheap for VN but worth it when they get it right, not when they don’t. Good luck, simple issues to correct and we hope it is a success.Hi Smiling_Death,Thanks for reviewing Market Bar, very sorry to hear about your bad experience on the second night. I'll be raising this issue with the manager and try to understand what happened so it won't again. We recently changed the menu to include a lot more tapas options and I suspect you experienced some 'teething pains' on our first or second night of using the new tapas menu. The bruschetta should never have been made using rye/walnut/rosemary bread, that was a big mistake from our staff. All of the staff are trained to check the quality of the food after it is served and always offer a new drink before the customers' glasses are empty. We'll review the service standards again today ensure this is happening every time.Again, sorry for your experience on the second night and enjoy the rest of your time in Vietnam.
