What can I say about this incredible, sweet and humble place... my partner had booked in advance, for 2pm, itâs a restaurant tucked into the side with other shops, if you not know or see it careful you could miss it!!Trueba is where you eat with the locals who know their food! (You have been warned!!)You must know your food too, speaking Spanish helps a bit too! Dress well, enjoy your food and life here and you can see why the Basque Country and itâs people enjoy and are passionate about their food, culture and want people to know and understand why! Itâs recommended to book in advance, DO NOT just turn up!!! Our host Ramona was a lovely and sweet woman with her team - service, food and knowledge of the food which is traditionally Basque food - cooked to perfection. Apologies for lack of photos, reason? Itâs a place you want to share and remember in your memories, if you want to ask me questions about the dining experience, please do.. itâs also a place to meet and talk to locals, as we did .. highly highly recommended Thank you very much for your wonderful opinion, we are glad you enjoyed the experience. We stopped here for a swift one whilst waiting for our table as Cascanueces. It turns out they are owned by the same people, and if the quality here is anything like its big brother the pintxos should be brilliant.

What a great find. It's in the corner of a stunning old square. There a bars and restaurants everywhere but we chose here on Friday and came back today. Beer and especially the wine very good and a fantastic selection of food. But best of all is the service. We will be back before we leave on Wednesday Thank you for your comment and for recommending us to other travelers. We are glad to know that you visited us more than once.
