Visiting the oldest german sparkling wine cellar is really nice and enjoyable, especially after tasting some of the very nice sparkling wines.In the shop you will also find a small museum with the history of the wine cellar and on Saturdays go early, because it will be crowded already at 10 am. Very nice courtyard available where to sit and listen to some music (Saturdays only)

If you are serious about meat this is the place for you. We went early on Friday night and that was the only reason we got a table. We loved it so much when we went the next evening taking friends there was no chance of getting a table without a reservation.The waiters are very friendly, efficient and they go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and looked after. Both of us had the Argentinian Rib-Eye. My side was out of this world: sweet potato chips with crispy bacon and maple syrup and the other side was vegetables. They also have an extensive wine list.Tip: make a reservation, this restaurant is for a special occasion because it is pricey.I would love to visit this restaurant again.

Wer sich mit leckerer Hausmannskost verwöhnen lassen will, ist in Hahn's Mostbesen genau richtig. Das Sauerkraut ist ein Traum und der Most sehr lecker. Schwäbische Tapas können in gemütlicher Runde geteilt werden, jeden Mittag gibt es zur normalen Karte ein typisch schwäbisches Gericht im Angebot und die Stimmung ist einfach klasse. Ein Dank an Familie Hahn, die generationsübergreifend ein Besen-Highlight in Esslingen bietet, das so nicht oft zu finden ist.

We both can only recommend the Entenmanns!Visiting the spring festival in Esslingen we walked by this place in the beginning of our trip, but actually entered it at the end before leaving and it was the cherry on the cake! The atmosphere is not only cosy and totally family friendly (the little daughter brought us our silverware as well as the menus) everyone in the team was super helpful! Special of the day was a leek soup which I was really craving for! ...and as a nice side dish we ordered the cheese platter... it was amazing! Not only in the sense of taste!Some wild flowers in the soup as well as oregano have it a special kick... as well as I was eating the first time of my life wall nuts with the shell! ! ! Which are super delicious and prepared by the owner himself...Also the time the owner took in order to explain us, how the nuts are done as well as that all the cheeses are from local cows, eating only grass and even live natural (keeping their horns and stay as natural as possible) It was a journey of taste and we will for sure come one day back and try your main courses.Keep it up! We loved it!
