We always stop there on our way through. Cute little place with great coffee drinks, a small bar and good food. Cookies are huge and a wonderful place to to just sit and talk.

My wife and two friends of ours were visiting the Willamette wine country this past week and were given a recommendation for Rosamarino in Newberg. What a fantastic place! I've traveled the world and eaten in many great places, but this restaurant is special. The owner/chef and his wife make this experience truly exceptional, so much so that we visited them twice during our short week of vacation. They have a set course menu on weekdays which is paired with great wines. The chef comes out to your table to explain each course (how it was prepared, why he selected the companion wine, etc.). This made the experience absolutely memorable. We liked it so much for the weekday dinner that we went back on Sunday night. On Sundays, they only serve gnocchi and pizza. Both were wonderful. If you find yourself looking for dinner options around Newberg OR, do yourself a favor and make a reservation at Rosamarino!

This is a well run, sensibly priced wine bar serving good food and several local wines by the glass: try the comparative tasting of local wines using Italian grape varieties and the native Italian equivalents. Staff are friendly, service is fast and the food tasty.

From the minute we walked into the restaurant we were greeted by friendly staff. The menu although not huge, had a lot of things to choose from and the entree comes with a soup and salad. We opted for full diners but they also offer small plates that looked yummy. The choices of wine pairings was excellent.

Lovely restaurant, friendly and professional service, delicious meal. Made reservation during a trip touring Willamette Valley wineries. My meal included side salad, escargot starter and perfectly seared scallops. My husband had an outstanding wagu beef with mashed potatoes and roasted veggies. I would of preferred to see more veggies replace the slaw (?) with my scallops.

We had lunch reservations and arrived a bit early. The dining room had 3 tables of guests, 2 of whom had completed their lunches. The hostess showed us to a table I. The center of the room near the exterior door serving the guests outside. We asked for a different table. She said there would be a delay in service at those tables (really...the tables were only 4 ft apart) but there was ... 20 minutes before our order was taken. Now there was only one table of two people in the dining room. We split a Caesar salad and the fish and chips. The Caesar salad was okay and the fish and chips were very good but the service was uncharacteristically slow. And the bill was even slower. When my husband complained, they removed the charge for the glass of wine. This has been one of our favorite restaurants and we will give them another chance. Friends have said the restaurant changed hands and may be working out kinks. We sincerely hope so.
