Staff were friendly and explained the setup. We started by wandering through the cellar with examples of the Champagne Houses they support and their different styles. They support the smaller producers which is exactly what we wanted. We sampled the 6 different styles of champagne accompanied by a charcuterie platter. Each style was explained and also where it was grown. A great experience.

A welcoming place for lunch, the mainstay of the menu is platters and a selection of potted dishes. The menu is limited to be honest - some salad options would have been nice and not too complicated for the kitchen, I wouldn't have thought. Still, what we had was fine and the staff were very pleasant.

I agree to a certain extent with the previous poster as the chips were cold and chewy, almost like they had been reheated. Burger was average. Carafe of water was warm despite the heat. Waiters and waitresses just not really interested.

We hadn't booked anything on a Friday night in Epernay and our hotel warned us that it might be tough to get a place, so to try here.It was actually very quiet and laid back, probably because it doesn't offer a full dinner service, just a good selection of sharing platters and a very good wine list.We had seats outside in a quiet courtyard which was lovely on a warm night.Probably the only comment is that the platters are almost too much of a good thing - I had a huge plate of cheese which was a great selection but almost an overload. I would have liked a mixed plate with some meats, which isn't offered. Shared in a group of 4 with several choices it would have been perfect.
