Made a late booking and were acommodated due to a cancellation.We have previously had the breakfast which was really nice so we're anticipating the same for lunch.Seated very quickly a table for 2 by friendly staff.I ordered the roast beef which was cooked to perfection,rare and melt in the mouth.Vegetables were varied and cooked just how I like it,Yorkshire pudding was soft in the inside with a crisp shell....perfect.Gravy was delicious and thick.My wife had the scampi which she said was really tasty.Reset was apple crumble with custard and ice cream why could go wrong ...nothing and it was lovely.Cappuccino followed in the small seated area next to the bar .Pretty good value for money as the quality of food was exceptional.We have had many Sunday lunches in various restaurants and this has to be one of the best.Lovely location easy parking I highly reccomend.It was good to learn that a favourable experience of breakfast at Channels Bar & Brasserie had now been followed by a Sunday lunch receiving similar plaudits and we are very grateful for this review.

I had a lovely dinner last night with my family at Banana tree. The food was amazing, full of flavors. Luckily Sofia attended us and we are very grateful to meet her, she was very kind in helping us and informing us about the operation of the taste card since it is the first time we used it. We are very sure that we will visit again and soon.

Was surprised at how large the restaurant was inside. Do not be put off by the appearance outside could do with a paint job but inside is very inviting Food and service was extremely good could not find fault with either Possibly need to book as Saturday was very busyIn all a very enjoyable evening

We have lived in the area for 35 years, the last time we visited this establishment was over 20 years ago, just never got around to returning, We saw the sign outside for the new Thai menu so thought lets give it a go for a midweek treat,.First impressions as we entered the bar was much better than expected, we were welcomed by the owners and made to feel very welcome.A nice selection of beers and spirits were available which we enjoyed while reviewing the menu, although we went for the Thai there were some other choices on the menu that looked good also.We were recommended a few Thai dishes which we opted for and we were very pleased with our choice. In summary a nice place to visit and lovely food,we will certainly return and maybe for the Sunday roast.

This was out first ever Thai food and we went with friends that have eaten here before. Really enjoyed the food and the excellent service. A little old fashioned decor but a nice change from the chain restaurants. Chang beer was good (another 1st) and enjoyed the mixed starters very much. Will definitely go back.
