Has been a good experience having a series of local & fresh sushi in this restaurant. I found their "combo" sushi dishes that comes with three different sushi are quite good as you can try different but similar category of sushis in this way. E.g. shiromi, cram fish, etc. Also, I found Buri sushi is extremely good, probably due to winter season.

Delicious sushi, sashimi and tempura. The shrimp sashimi was super fresh. Friendly service from the lovely husband and wife owners. This place has been going for 52 years now - a good indicator of the quality. Great value, no tourist premium here. Small restaurant so be sure to book ahead if you plan a visit. Definitely worth the short taxi trip from the Akakura Onsen area.

Our guide recommended this place and not for nothing. The sashimi was excellent, the selection was very wide. Normal selection, high grade selection and very special selection platters at various price levels.The grilled soft shell crab was the tastiest I have had, you can sense the long experience of the chef/owner couple.Take a taxi and go! I know I will be back whenever in Myoko region.

予約無しではなかなか入れないとのことだったので、期待しての来店。最初に出てきた越前ガニは実が詰まっていてジューシー。お刺身の魚は甘みがあり、カラッと上がった白えびのてんぷらも美味しかった。メニューは揚げ物、焼き物等々とても豊富で、どれも食べたくなるようなものばかり。最後にお寿司を頂いたが、全てが美味しく大満足だった。

This place is listed in the tourist brochure so I was expecting the prices to be higher. It is a large venue that was quite quiet when we visited (late lunch) we were the only non-Japanese guests (good sign). English menu available (helps) the had a quite reasonably priced sushi platter and combined with a few hot Sake we enjoyed a nice lunch.

ランチ時に行きました。先客は居るものの、待つこと無くカウンター席に案内されました。「回転寿司」ですが、回っている寿司は皆無。食べたい物を、パッド注文。シャリは酢が効いていると、個人的に感じました。ネタの鮮度は、テーブルスタッフさんの様に、ピチピチでは無く、期待値を下回りました。ま～、チェーン展開だから仕方ないのかな…

We dined here with 2 families of 4 and everyone loved it. The food was faultless and reasonably priced. Its difficult in Nozawa (in January at least) to get restaurants for 8 people so try to book in advance. We popped our head in a couple of days before and secured a booking.
