Sato Sushi is very American, which some people might like. Of course, for me it all comes down to the sushi fish which fits into one of only three categories: 10 out of 10, 9 out of 10, and mm - I'll just have some noodles. Sato is a 9, which is very good. They have their entire menu on their website so you can see they have a lot of cool, creative things like a deep fried jalapeno stuffed with spicy tuna and drizzled with what tastes like the same sauce as Burger King puts on a whopper - it's called a 'heart attack'. As a matter of fact, a lot of things here are deep fried, a bit like Applebees. The building looks like what used to be an Applebees and is decorated similarly. There are several TV's so you can watch a sports game while you eat and they play American pop music over the speaker system - also Applebees. In fact, nothing (except the food, sort of) appears to be Japanese, not even the sushi chef - then again, you don't have to be Japanese to make good sushi. We had the lunch bento box with sashimi and sushi and also had udon noodle soup which was spicy - like American Continental Red Chili spicy, weirdly Americanized but good.We had excellent service, the food was priced well, and we got Mint Andes Candies with our check, also Applebees.

I've been to Tokyo Steak a couple times because my friends like it. For the life of me I don't know why. We had dinner in the regular restaurant, not where they cook the meal in front of you. The rice seemed leftover. The mixed drinks seemed poured from a prepared bottle and tasted, to me, like cleaning fluid. The food was okay, at best, and I was thinking of numerous places where I've had better. I hope to never go back, but who knows? Some people like this place, just not me.

Service was very good, swift and pleasant. Food was quite tasty although there were globules of FAT attached to the Teriyaki beef slices which really should not have been there. The baked mussels were good as was the salad and the Miso soup. We didn't partake of Shushi, but the folks at the counter looked like they were enjoying it.

Needed something for late night so ordered sushi to go... asked for a special roll with spicy tuna and scallops together and rice outside and an OMG roll... 6 hours later (kept refrigerated of coarse) they were still incredible!!! Best late night snack ever as my wife gets home around 11 pm!!!! The chefs are top notch and the wait staff is wonderful!!! Back again soon!!!!

Went here for lunch and another time for dinner. This is supposedly new location as an extension of Gold Fish from Rancho Vista in Palmdale. Being a new location, you expect it to be clean and nice. This place needs serious cleaning already. Tables are sticky floor is greasy and I prefer to use chop sticks than regular silverware. Food is alright not really great. It is over crowded and I th8nk they have t9 hire more people so that service will not be too long if. A wait. Not confident in ordering their sushi. The rest of the food is alright.

I enjoyed dinner at Sakura. Its a reasonably priced all you can eat Asian Buffet. I liked the Mongolian barbecue the best. I also liked the seafood. Its tasty food and popular. It is self serve, including the drinks, For beverages I enjoyed soda and with dessert hot tea. Staff is nice.
