ランチで利用。予約をしなかったため少し待ちがあったが数分で入店出来ました。予約した方が無難です。握りのランチメニューを利用しましたが、品数も多く味も良かったので、また利用したいお店です。個室等もあるようで、宴会にも利用出来そうです。

This restaurant is a short walk away from the JR station. It's a small mom-and-pop (literally) place that has been around for decades and was established by the owner's grandfather. The present owner is a third generation sushi master chef. Highlights include "fatty tuna," abalone (if it's too chewy for you raw, they will cook it for you) and other delights. If you don't want to sit at the traditional tables you can sit at the bar, which enables you to see what's going on in the kitchen. Sorry, no English menu, so make sure there's a Japanese speaker in your party. Besides, you will want to converse with the owners about sushi and food in general. Leave room for some great local sake.

古峯神社の駐車場近くには数件のお土産＆食事処が並んでいるのですが、バスを降りて本殿に向かう途中に先ず、ここの女将さんに『あとで寄っていってね！』といきなり呼び止められ（笑）ました。古峯神社でも直会（なおらい＝昼食）がとれるのですが、当日参籠をした自分達、写真を見ると夕食と殆ど内容が変わらないようだったので、それなら違うものがいいねと、また外の食事処へ戻る事に。他の食事処も覗き見すると、クラブツー○○ム団体様のプレートがテーブル各所に置かれてるのを見て、こりゃ団体客と一緒になったら大変だなと即察知したので、結局は最初の栄屋さんへ・・・ここは団体客御一行ともぶつかることなく、静かに食事できたことが良かったです。好きな場所に座ると『サービスだから』とコンニャクの田楽が出されました（おいしかったです）。注文したのはそばとうどんでしたが、味は本当に普通で（一応、褒め言葉です）、何時もこう云った観光地の食事処ではあまり味は期待していないので、特筆や批判する部分がないのが正直なところ。食後には桜餅とコーヒーも出して頂きました。それよりも話し好きの女将さんと旦那さん、お嬢さんとのコミュニケーションがとても楽しかったです。これだけでも入店した甲斐がありました。また古峯神社へ行ってのんびりしたい時には寄らせて頂きたいと思っています。
