Platinum Grill will always be our special restaurant because of their special services and their food for sure.We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary with their best fine-dinning package menu and they setup our table so romanticly and personally.The ambience always suit for couples and family events.Best trained staffs made all the time spend became priceless and memorable.

This restaurant blew me away. The menu is basically set with appetisers x 5 (you get each one), main of your choice and dessert (choice of 4-5). The presentation is amazing. You would expect this quality from some of the best restaurants around the world. The US prime rib eye which we shared was cooked to perfection and had a fantastic jus to compliment it. I have had some amazing steaks around the world including what I thought was the best I could find in Argentina but this was absolutely the equal of it. The cheesecake dessert was magnificent. We could not fault this place. Service was also very very good. I like that the waitress said at payment time that they are not allowed to accept tips which I really hope means that they are well looked after. I'd be disappointed if they are not. All in all a great restaurant which should not be missed. Shame we didn't try it until the end of our 6 month stay in Surabaya

boncafe has good steak for a reasonable price. the chicken steak are equally good, the imported australian beef are a little bit more expensive as compared to the local beef, as the imported beef quality obviously are better, so i suggest going for the australian beef, you cannot go wrong with this choice. lots of table but it could be a nightmare getting a table on weekends.

I often come to this place, it is comfortable and the atmosphere is very nice. I love the food here, especially the tanderloin steak, because it is my favorite. The meat are very juicy and delicious, perfectly cooked. The staff are super friendly and they are doing such a great job handling the customers!

Used to be my family's favorite steak house during my childhood while living at Surabaya. Was became one of the legendary restaurant at Surabaya. Recently visited Surabaya, one of my itenary was to revisit this steak house - and I came with only disappointment...The place is much much larger and bigger then my last visit at year 90s. Ordered the chicken steak (was my favorit dish at this restaurant) - it came with small slice of chicken and overcooked. The taste was below average as this restaurant was counting on sauces rather than its chicken meat itself. Like I was eating a chicken in bbq soup rather than a chicken steak.To be honest, nowdays I can easily find many steak house at Jakarta those provide much much much 33x better steak with the same price range.

I was with my friends (4) having our brunch here a few days ago. The restaurant was not that packed, only four to six tables are occupied. We sat at the corner of the room. To order the menu, we called the waitress but we got ditched a few times that the waitress serving other table and somehow ignoring us. At first it was okay but then it gets annoying when i wanna ask for pepper. We called out but the waitress did not respond. They somehow busy with themselves talking on the cashier. Is this considered okay?But anyway aside from the poor service the food was good and nice.

We didnât eat lunch here instead we had dessert, the offer lots of local delicacies such as es dawet and es campur, the durian is really delicious and this place is one of the best restaurant. Everytime I went to Surabaya everyone keep telling me to eat here.

Boncafe offer both local and imported meat, however, both are cut thin, almost in minute steak thickness. It served on a sizzling platter - i asked for mine to be rare which meant one side was flame cooked and the other just exposed to the sizzle platter. That said, the meat was rare and tender but as its thin you dont get the true meat taste.Service, once ordered, was prompt for the food but....it took a long time for anyone to take the order, and to get a 2nd drink, which is a pity as the bintang is served with a frozen mug. I had finished my meal by the time the 2nd beer finally came and the glass was already defrosted suggesting it had sat on a side for some time (and the resto wasnt busy).Likewise, requested the desert menu once finally got someones attention but no one bothered coming back to take order so just gave up....Suggestions: cut the imported steak in 1" thick slices and improve the service!
