Iâm normally pretty easygoing but this was hands down the worst dining experience Iâve had. We stopped in for drinks and appetizers.....thankfully we didnât stop for a meal! We ordered wings and nachos....hard to do them wrong.When the order came up, we overheard the waitress say to the cook âyou didnât put on much cheeseâ. With that, she picked up the order and brought it to the table.The nachos had very little cheese and the wings were so over cooked that they were brittle.The waitress never came back to ask how we were doing, so I finally called her over and told her about the wings. Her response was to say that they had one other client who told them the same thing. She was friendly but didnât do a thing and the cook basically said he didnât care.Best to just avoid this place.....

Calamari was cooked right. Very light batter and tender. They made sure we were informed that our fish order will take a few minutes longer than expected which is ok with us. At least we were informed and so we were not wondering what happened to our order. It really didnât take that long. Server was very attentive and friendly and everything we ordered were cooked right. Best dinner we had during our stay in Sherbrooke. We will definitely return if visiting again.Dear guest,Thank you so much for your beautiful review. We look forward to serving you again soon! Our B&B host recommended Mechant Steak to us, but I would look elsewhere for a special meal. The hostess greeted us quickly and realizing we were American she shifted to English without a hitch. The set up has tables very close with a long bench against a wall and a chair on the opposite side of the table. Unfortunately it seemed we were right on top of other guests. The restaurant was very busy and most customers brought their own wine. I decided to change my order to a burger when I saw another guest eating one (it looked awesome), but I was disappointed. My sweet potato fries were lukewarm and limp. My wife had a blackened snapper that was good, but served on a cold potato salad that seemed out of place. Overall we were disappointed, because we had our hopes up going in. The experience was not bad, but there are probably better choices.

At the beginning it looked like the service was going to be excellent, however that changed when two of the three meals arrived as incorrect orders. One steak became ribs and another steak was the wrong type of steak. The previously very friendly waitress became quite defensive and claimed she never made mistakes. We ended up taking the wrong meals to avoid a haste. The seasonal veggies were overdone and cold. The ribs were very good and they did offer a free desert for the mix up. But at $175 for dinner for three it was not good value. Very unlikely to go back.
