Been visiting mojitos with my family for 8 years now so thought its time to review this fantastic restaurant.Food is amazing always hot and freshly made and very tasty so many good dishes to choose from and very good prices too meals from 5 or 6 euros which is fantastic.Very friendly family run business they all know us very well these guys make us feel extremely welcome and we enjoy going every night for dinner yako and abraham put the fun factor in to dining in beautiful lanzarote.My 13 year old daughter absolutely loves it at mojitos the guys call her princessa was last here june 2019 and hope to be back next year.yako and abraham you guys are a great advert for lanzarote and thats why we come back.This is a true and accurate review and hope to see you guys again soon Kind regards Tony Audrey & amy (princessa)From Glasgow scotland

We decided to visit this restaurant after looking at the reviews on trip advisor and we werenât disappointed.I made a reservation online as we wanted to make sure we got in.We were surprised that it wasnât busier due to the time of year. This is not a cheap restaurant, itâs a beautiful restaurant with exceptional food and should not be missed in my opinion.From the garlic prawn and croquette starters, steak mains and creme brûlée dessert it was amazing. We ate like kings and were treat like royalty.

We went to this restaurant every day for our breakfast during our trip, after the first morning they knew exactly what we wanted. Even if we walked past later on on our way to the beach etc the staff would always come out to say hello to us. Brilliant staff brilliant place

We went here several times in the last fortnight, both for steaks and a carvery. Not only is the service amazing and very welcoming, but the food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The restuarant was quietly secluded, so a lovely setting for a special occasion! Great value too. Cannot wait to return here.

My first holiday abroad with my uncles and we ate here twice during our 2 week holiday. Both times the food was absolutely amazing, could not fault it. The chicken croquettes are delectable and very Moreish, Steaks were cooked to perfection, the lamb is soft and tender and the brownie is delicious. Gian(I hope I spelt that correctly) is an amazing host, so friendly and greets everyone as old friends. I cannot wait to go here again in the future. You will need to book in advance, as the restaurant is quite small and gets very busy- with good reason. Try it, you wonât regret it!!

Visited La Portena on a friend's recommendation and we were not disappointed. Situated looking over the marina, it's an understated but smart venue. The waitress/owner was so friendly, bubbly and just a joy to chat to. She went over the menu giving recommendations, not just for food but for wine and came across so genuinely. I had the short rib (upgraded to wagyu) which melted in the mouth and my partner had ribeye. Cooked to absolute perfection. Sides were a potato rosti and simple house salad. Perfect amounts and well presented. Loved it so much, we came back with our friends on the week of our wedding. Again, superb service, food and atmosphere. The owner and staff are an absolute credit and letting us finish off the bottle of limoncello was appreciated ;) we will be back!
