Ottima carne ma non particolarmente economica.... Il servizio è stato lento, probabilmente a causa dell'alto numero di tavoli occupati. Non ci sono stati proposti gli antipasti (abbiamo visto passare taglieri di affettati e formaggi, bruschette, e non so cosa altro) che avremmo gradito. Abbiamo poi rinunciato alla loro richiesta visto i tempi biblici di attesa come pure all'integrazione di carne (al momento dell'ordine avevamo esplicitato che avremmo ordinato dopo eventualmente altro).

In summer, the tables are all outside, in the middle of a small square in the old part of Bernalda. It is simple but still quite suggestive, and pizza is good. The price is ok and the service nice. They have very little choice for desserts, but it is not a big issue with all the nice icecream places on the main road in the town.If in summer, I suggest this place for an informal and easy dinner.

We had the most wonderful evening at La Mangiatoia, and were lucky to have a spot as locals also appreciate the kitchen. I'd recommend to reserve. Chef Vito and the crew respect their ingredients, their clients and the taste in the way it should. You get quality on your plate, our Fiorentina was excellently aged, the help on the wines was correct and personal, and the overall help of the team couldn't have been nicer.It was a pleasure to have met such a warm team, felt good to have been there, so we also heard from the 20p group that came with our recommendation, and it will be a pleasure to come back. 5 stars without a doubt.

This was my first time and it was a fun, exciting, and delicious experience. You enter downstairs and select the meat from Dominico (the butcher) who wraps it and then you go upstairs where it is cooked. My cameriere were Giuseppe and Bella Cosmina, who took very good care of me. The food was delicious, but be very careful not to order too much meat. The buffet upstairs of vegetables is delicious and compliments the meat entrée. I had a wonderful time here including a "laughing session" as I was leaving with Dominico and Giuseppe...fun for everyone. The food is good and the price is fair. I need to also mention the house vino (primitive) which was excellent and I was told because there are no sulfites in it...for a house vino it was really good. Next time I am anywhere near Bernalda, I will eat dinner here. Grazie a Dominico, Giuseppe e Cosmina per una serata bellissima, non la dimentichero` mai.
