Ostrava (Polish: Ostrawa, German: Ostrau or Mährisch Ostrau) is a city in the north-east of the Czech Republic and is the capital of the Moravian-Silesian Region. It is 15 km (9 mi) from the border with Poland, at the meeting point of four rivers: the Odra, Opava, Ostravice and Lučina. In terms of both population and area Ostrava is the third largest city in the Czech Republic, the second largest city in Moravia, and the largest city in Czech Silesia. We often come to this restaurant. They have a new menu from which we chosen T-bone steak. We ordered medium-rare one but we were served well done. It is pity because food is usually good here.

provozovatele pÅekvapila. Pamatuju zde jeÅ¡tÄ restauraci KORAS, ale dlouho jsem tu nebyla a pÅekvapila mne zmÄna. Byli jsme zde nÄkolikrát na polednà menu. We organised a small family gathering in the Stracena. The ambiance was nice, the service very good and the food was excellent. We ordered steaks which were really excellent. Two of our party had âtatarak Stracenaâ, which was delicious. The simple goulash was also excellent although the portion was too big ;) We liked the service. The blond lady was great in persuading us to take a desert on top of our cake :) and the desert was really worth it! We liked the pub and will come back again.

The servers were very attentive to our large group ensuring frequent checks to ensure we had drinks and food, etc. They were very personable, and the food was outstanding. The burgers are fantastic. As I understand the pub owner also has a large beef farm and the meat served is farm-to-table, and it is exceptionally good. I would recommend this restaurant for a great atmosphere, both inside and out, very courteous service, and great food and drinks. The staff are able to speak English

The food is superb. I had squid-ink pasta and grilled duck, both were beautifully presented and prepared to perfection. Good, attentive service is leisurely, meant to be a long enjoyable evening with friends. Extensive wine list with excellent choices and proper decanting and presentation of the cork. This place exudes class but is very unpretentious. When you're done with the meal, save room for dessert. The caramel cheesecake is to die for. Since I am neither a caramel nor cheesecake fan, saying how good this dessert is means that it's really incredible.

Modern styled Japanese Restaurant with a twist. We had excellent carpaccio as starters whixh isnt really Japanese ;-) followed by some steamed dumplings in the typical Cantonese baskets with a scallion sauce sprinkled with hot pepper. After that sushi galore. I especially enjoyed the rolls with the cooked salmon inside with the fried outside. All accompanied with Czech beer and Korean soju. Thats globalization at its best Hey Christine_sing, We wanna say thank you for your great review. About our carpaccio, we realized that it's not really Japanese traditional food but we do use Japanese Wagyu beef filet steak as an ingredient , so we can tell there is sort of Japanese kitchen style. Anyway I would like to say thank you again and all Gokana member staff hope that we gonna see you in our restaurant very soon.

Today I visited the restaurant for a lunch and it wasnât very tasty. I had a pork steak which wasnât very tasteful. The soup was fine. Price 250 KÄ is fine by me, but for someone may not be. We had dinner at Comedor Mexicano and were very very happy with the experience. The waiters were true professionals and created a great feeling and atmosphere throughout the night. The food was absolutely delicious, we could have ordered anything from the menu as it all sounded so good. We ended up sharing everything, the appetizers, the main course and dessert. Everything was great, also the perfect local red wine! Will definitely visit again if I'm ever in Ostrava and will happily recommend to anyone! Thumbs up!
