Came here for lunch with a customer recently. First time visit to La Estancia.Nice setup; good parking space and restaurant is well decorated. Good amount of tables but still spacious. We just missed the lunch rush and that was good.Meat is what it is about here so we went for mix with 2 types of meat. Good portions and great taste. Sides are also generous.Excellent service and food and I will definately come back.

Nice atmosphere- we were here for a business dinner. We went to three different restaurants for dinner during our trip, and this one was my favorite. We ordered several appetizers which were all fantastic- try the ceviche. Several in my group had the steak and only have positive things to say. I had the tuna and watermelon, and it was wonderful. The menu reflected the local cuisine, but had plenty of familiar items. They offered menus in English which was also super helpful. Plenty of drink options, including some specialty cocktails. We steered clear of water (tap/ ice) and fresh raw vegetables to be safe as we did throughout our trip.

The food, the ambience, the staff - all wonderful. You canât beat the enthusiastic staff and the way they help you navigate the menu. Wonderful drinks. And incredible steaks. Great selection of wines. The view, spectacular. A must go to restaurant.

The warm welcome from the host started off a wonderful experience. Nice wine selection is available. The steak is cooked to perfection and the sides are solid (potato casserole was out of this world). Service was excellent.

Would call it the best restaurant in Guatemala City, but I still have to try other restaurant. But I doubt I will find the quality of food and service I found in this restaurant. Had the shrimps and fillet and OMG--just wanted to keep on eating and eating!

Excellent steak house, open late. It was really awesome to try some of the unique cuts they had (something like filet mignon and they left a bit of the fat at the edge, which was awesome). This is a very expensive restaurant for Guatemala, but not so expensive by US standards.

The food was amazing! We had three different types of meat, and all of them were great. The costilla sin hueso was particularly good, as well as the mashed potatoes and guacamole. They give you three different types of salts to season the meat yourself that really heighten the taste. Overall great experience, and I would love to eat there again.

Very solid option for something different in Guatemala city. This restaurant is a staple of the z10 restaurant scene and for good reason. it's consistent quality and different menu options offer a nice reprieve from traditional Guatemalan fare or chain options around town.
