Itâs the best restaurant that we visited in Craiova! The location is top, the interior is great and the food is delicious! The staff is really friendly and helpful! We had a great time in this restaurant!

7AI3TPMH67LLTI went to this place because of the good reviews and because I wanted a stake from a steak house (who presumably know how to cook it). I was deeply disappointed! I ordered an Argentine fillet steak MEDIUM alongside a glass of red wine... As I waited I could hear the waiters gossiping and bickering about all kind of stuff (that clients should not hear) by the bar. That seems to be their point of focus not the client.When my steak arrived it was rare, not medium-rare but plain rare. I called the waiter and showed him the stake asking if that was medium because it seemed rare to me... All I could get out of him was: "yeah... I can see is rare.." no apologies no nothing. I told him that I ordered a medium stake and that is what I want. So he took it back to the kitchen and after 10 minutes he came back with the same stake that they just cooked some more. When I objected that even a half decent steak house would apologize and redo the steak he called another waiter that was very rude and aggressive trying to convince me that mistakes happen and I should just eat the stake as it is... He even asked me if I consider it normal that if they get 10 stakes/day wrong of they should just throw 10 stakes away.After that discussion and his terrible attitude I told him that I will not pay for that (food I did not eat!) and I just got up to leave. He become quite aggressive blocking my way and telling me that that is not an option.I then asked him to call the police or the manager. After spending a few minutes making a few phone calls and going to another room so I would not hear what he was saying he came back with the cook who was trying to convince me that he tried to cook the stake medium. I asked again to talk to the manager but he said he was out of town and it could not be bothered with this kind of things When I turned to leave he did not tryed to stop me anymore he just said to me "hope you are happy now! You did not pay!"I will surely not go there again!

Very nice atmosphere, exactly in old downtown. The place is very animated by nice people and you may assist to entire promenade.I recommend this place for lunch, but also for a nice dinner, outside in the summer evenings.The owner has another restaurant to Romanescu Park, where the food it's even better than in the paub from old downtown. To Planter's Pub in old downtown, we've had a pizza, beef stake and some pasta. All been delicious and my tenderloin medium rare, was just great.Good value for money and most important, here the wince list is something you don't find everywhere, for example Corcova and Segarcea wines are something special to this place.
