It's the second time I have the plesure to spend some holidays in Meran and after 5 years I didn't wait to go again to this fantastic typical restaurant close to Meran.It is a pleasure to stay outside with a stunning view of the mountains and inside because it is very very characteristic with its walls made with real stones and everything so nice and warm.The food is very good at reasonable prices ( I recommend the mix of grilled meat and the Canederli of course with a good Weizen beer) and the staff very kind (new management since few months here).So don't hesitate to go of you want something authentic!!Dear guest,thank you for sharing your positive experience with TripAdvisor. There is not a lot to say about this place, mainly that it does the best pizza you will ever eat. I had a Pugliese, and when I asked for some Peperoncino, was offered (what to me) was anew idea, it was a powdered chilli (look it up at www.peperita.it) in two types, I put Trinidad Scorpion (15/15 on heat scale) on one half of my pizza, and Naga Chocolate (13/15 on heat scale) on the other, and please don't knock it unless you have tried it. The Scorpion had a definite sting, the Naga a little more subtle, but quite simply the best Pizza I have eaten in a very long time. David and his staff are warm and welcoming, attentive without being over fussy, and certainly know what they are doing with a pizza oven

Restaurant close to the brewery has a big and well attended terrace. They have a good beer, varied and affordable wine card and rather extensive menu. Food is very Austrian, with a lot of meat. It's okay but not very special and not very cheap. Staff is efficient but they missed the personal touch. Food was there, shortly after we ordered it. At the end of the dinner the waiter offered a drink from the house. Good parking facilities.

Sono stata a mangiare in questo ristorante ....locale bello e anche un grande giardino...personale gentile ma....non ho trovato nulla di eccezionale....i prezzi del ristorante mi sembravo un pò cari invece i prezzi della pizzeria sono nella norma.le pizze sono grandi e pieni di ingredienti,i piatti del ristorante sono abbondanti.Ho visto la loro pubblicità sui giornali che alla domenica c'è la musica dal vivo ma io non l'ho nè vista e nè sentita....Grande il parcheggio ed è facile da arrivarci

An unusual find in Suedtirol: US and Argentinian beef. The owner's passion for his product can be felt in every aspect of this restaurant. Very nice, well priced wine list, excellent service, good size steaks and the "special" grill.If you need a change from pizza and pasta, then don't miss this place!

This was the second time I ate at this restaurant. The pizza was again very good - thin crust and plenty of toppings. Book the Stube, which is much nicer than the main restaurant. I understand that meat dishes are very good too. Reasonably priced
