As a meat lover, I frequent the steak restaurant 'De Klok'. With steaks as a speciality, there is also good choice of other dishes (fish, vegetarian and kids).Most of the time, I limit the order to a main course only as the portions served are big.The steak is simply delicious. Good quality meat, well prepared and seasoned with a good grill taste. The fresh french fries and salad makes the dish complete.If still space in the stomach left, one can make a choice of the deserts. The ice cream, although not homemade, is excellent.The atmosphere in this restaurant is homely and the place is frequented by locals which seem to return on regular basis. With daily specials (except onSaturday) at reduced prices, it is a real hit.No need to order wine with your dish. The selection of draught beer can also be recommended.

This place is amazing for food and the location is perfect. I had the shrimp cocktail which was amazing with the fish hot pot to follow and this was also amazing. The waitress was excellent but the gentleman who we first met was quite rude but thankfully we didnât have to interact with him again. Highly recommend

Waiters were very attentive to us (they suggested us to take off our jacket, asked if everything was fine, etc.). The food was tasty but not enough potatoes with the burgers (could be enough for non starving people). We didn't waited the time for a long time.Well located (in the grote markt), and very cosy restaurant (not to big like canteens). Toilets were cleaned.I really recommend it.Bedankt voor de toffe recensie! We doen ons uiterste best om iedereen zo goed mogelijk te bedienen en zijn blij te horen dat u alles goed vond! We went there with reservation for a Friday evening. This is a casual midrange steakhouse but costs more like fine dining. It was not busy when we arrived at 8 PM but gradually the restaurant filled with only a few empty places. The meat options arrive with one of the partners of the restaurant and he explains them to us. The price is per person and varies depending on steak. We opted for the Australian ribeye at his recommendation despite me eyeing the more expensive Irish Tomahawk steak. We ordered a bottle of 'Enemigo mio' which was a delicious pairing. We also had an order of bitterballen which is a crispy fried crumb exterior surrounding a very hot beef filling. The steak arrives sliced with a small portion of fried vegetables and a bearnaise sauce and peppercorn sauce. This is accompanied by two bowls: one of frites (of course!) and the other of a mixed green salad. Overall we enjoyed the meal and service and would recommend.

we went to morso for a nice dinner and were welcomed really friendly by the attentive staff. Throughout the evening, there was a serene atmosphere even though the street nearby was relatively busy. We were able to watch the sunset from our seats outside and the waiters were all very likable :)
