Balneário Camboriú (Portuguese pronunciation: [bawneˈaɾju kɐ̃boɾiˈu]) is a major beach resort city in the Brazilian southern state of Santa Catarina. The city, with its steep hills dropping down to the sea, is popular amongst South Americans. The main ocean boulevard is called Avenida Atlântica (Atlantic Avenue). Balneário Camboriú is famous for the cable car which (uniquely in the world) links the city's central beach and the beach of Laranjeiras. The city is located 10 km (6.2 mi) south of the city of Itajaí, 96 km (60 mi) south of the city of Joinville, and 80 km (50 mi) north of the state capital, Florianópolis. The city has a population of 124,557 (2014 census office estimate), which swells to over one million in the summer.

Super bem localizado, em frente ao mar, anexo ao Hotel Mercure, em plena Praça Almirante Tamandaré (centro de Balneário Camboriú). Abre para almoço e jantar. Funciona até meia-noite. Gastronomia excelente. Possui estacionamento com manobrista (vallet). Algumas mesas ao ar livre (ambiente externo). Fomos sem reserva, mas na alta temporada costuma ficar lotado. Conforme o movimento servem buffet e aos sábados a feijoada é tradicional ali. Gosto mais de ir a esse restaurante na hora do almoço e saborear carnes ou frutos do mar, mas o maior movimento costuma ser para o jantar. O mignon ao brie que eles fizeram este ano no Balneário Saboroso com risoto de cogumelos estava excelente. Gosto de ir a esse restaurante, com atendimento simpático, cortês, educado. VALE A PENA.

This is a typical branded, themed restaurant where you, hope, you know what to expect.Nice surroundings, friendly greeting and service, good standards all round and a quality product and you pay for the experience. Outback delivered in all aspects and the ribs were fantastic. But it's nothing to do with brazil and a lot more expensive than most local restaurants. Nice for a change but I prefer the experience and charm of the rustic, local restaurants where your never quite sure what you get.

Madero restaurant claims that they offer the best burger in the world...I cant judge, but it is really a very honest one. Besides it all the service and different dishes are also very good quality! Highly recomended!

I've been here twice, once for the steak and once for the burger. The venue is clean and service is prompt. Nothing to rave about the food as I had much worst in Brazil. Fair ratio for price/quality. They have 2 big screen TVs for any sports fan out there on request. Worth a try.

They offered an executive lunch as of B$19,90, which is good compared to the high prices of other restaurants in town. I got there because I saw several customers at that lunch time. I asked for a grill chicken that came with mash potato, salad, rice and a small amount of red beans. The presentation of the dish was good, and the meal was so delicious. The place is nice, and the service was good.

As the title says, I had an incredible experience eating Didge's Pork Ribs in Baln. Camboriú! Very very tasty! They also have now an innovative virtual menu, so you can order dishes, drinks and call the waiter by the app (they give you a personal card with QR code + samsung tablet so you are able to use the application). Good music, good people, good vibe! Ahhh and they have Soda Antarctica!!! It's my fav soda ever and unfortunately very difficult to find noways in mostly of bars : /
