We went for a special meal with friends for St Valentines. The food was superb and excellent value for money.Although fully booked the service couldnât be faulted especially by our waiter David who speaks fluent English.

Friendly welcome by the owner.Interior decoration is ok and the restaurant is very clean!Plenty of choise on the menu.I would reccommend some fresh grilled fish (tuna).The winelist has some nice regional wines for a reasonable price.We paid 92,00⬠for a 3 course menu for two persons, including a bottle of white wine (José Pariente - Rueda), a bottle of sparkling mineral water and some bread. We had some clams âal cachitoâ, tuna a la plancha with vegetables and a dessert (caramel flan and Haagen Dazs ice cream).Best local restaurant in the novo sancti petri area.

This restaurant has a prime position, with fantastic sea views, and you can eat outside (great for a drink and tapas) or inside - better for a meal. Staff friendly and efficient, and ambiance very good. We visited this restaurant a couple of times for tapas - which was brilliant - excellent tortellitas de camarones (shrimp/prawn fritters) ; boquerones ( anchovies) yummy and paté de cabracho (red scorpion fish pâté) very tasty plus the best Sangria we have ever had-truly!!We returned for a lunch - and I guess the only criticism was that some aspects were not totally clear (though our knowledge of Spanish food is good). We ordered the mixed fried fish â which was on the starter part of the menu and said to be for two people - around 25 Euros..and it was massive (enough for four of us). It was the best quality and variety we had every had... but foolishly we had ordered a second course..and we were pretty near full by that time. So we did spend a bit over the odds for delicious food we were unable to eat (and couldnât eat again for the rest of the day!)

We are often told that the oceans remain as unexplored as many planets but this experience tries to defeat this idea with 15-16 small and delicious creations (if you have the smaller menu). Served with a wine flight of sherry this was an as unusual as it was remarkable. Sardine, Rockfish, shrimps, squid, oyster, mackerel, tuna, plankton, seaweed and herbs that have been foraged from the sea create an experience that may never be repeated. From the Uk we have had many Michelin and fine dining experiences and this probably comes closest to Simon Rogan and L'Enclume in utilising what is available and transforming natural ingredients into something very different and special. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant whether you are staying at the hotel (Melia Novo Sancti Petri) or anywhere in Cadiz.Finally the staff, who apologise for their English when in fact they are also remarkable in explaining the menu and wines with such clarity and enthusiasm. This place is amazing, the view is amazing, the service is great, the staff is very friendly and the food is excellent, we ate for starter âCroqueta Algasâ and for main âArroces and Chocoâ the food was so tasty and the portions were very generous. The restaurant is beside the beach. You can actually put your feet on the sand. Food is excellent and not overpriced at all. You can find a wide variety of locally produced ingredients in the menu. A really good place we just discovered casually.

Visited here after reading good reviews and was not disappointed. The waiter was polite and helpful and the food was lovely, portions are big so go with an appetite. i only had the goats cheese salad but it was huge and delicious.

This restaurant is by far the best place we have eaten at during our 2 week holiday.We ate a late lunch today and ordered 2 salads, one with a spicy beef and the second with lobster and prawns.We have been trying to find a really tasty meal since we arrived and while we have had nice food it has always fallen slightly short on flavour. Not today!My salad consisted of a lot of various leaves in a citrus dressing. Amongst it there were tiny cubes of mango and red pepper which were fresh and tasty. There were thin slivers of raw lobster and a shredded cooked lobster over the top. There were also some juicy prawns throughout.My husbandâs beef dish was spicy and served with watercress and plenty of peanuts. The bread was fresh and came with a small pot of vegetables in oil - delicious.We ordered desserts too - I had a pot of white chocolate yogurt and raspberries with a biscuit crumb and hubby had a chocolate brownie type dessert with ice-cream and garnish. My dessert was so light I ate the lot, as did the other half.With soft drinks and coffee the bill came to â¬56 and it was worth every penny.The restaurant itself is well set up and the staff were uber efficient. It is situated on the beach so the views are stunning but it was freezing cold due to the wind. Not a problem though as they gave out blankets to anyone who needed them.I would definitely recommend eating here.We greatly appreciate your comment and we are glad that you enjoyed our menu, having had a nice experience.We hope to see you soon and enjoy another great day with us.
