We visited Coco Jaguar twice in two days after walking by their great location, hearing the excellent Mexican music playing. We ate breakfast once, and lunch once, both meals being delicious, reasonably priced, and well presented. The beers were very cold and decent priced as well. Worth noting was the excellent service, and caring of the staff for making sure we were well looked after. We will be back to Coco Jaguar when we return to Isla, as it was a highlight of our stay there. We're very glad to hear that you spent a great time with us. We're looking forward to have you back here soon enough.

My husband and I came for a late breakfast and WOW. BEST breakfast experience yet. Very "homey" feel, polite and good English. The food was really fantastic! Hands down the best tomatillo sauce I've ever had. I ordered the Divorciados and not only was it a big plate but fresh and so delicious! My husband ordered the Huevos Motulenos (didnt get photo) and was very happy & impressed which is difficult to do lol! Coffee was great, friendly...highly reccomend you give this local place a try for breakfast!**UPDATE** We came back to try dinner a day later and it was wonderful! My husband had the whole fried fish and it was delicious! I chose the shrimp fajitas which came with grilled onions & peppers. We both had rice and small salad. All fresh tasting, cooked well, and no overkill by unnecessary spices. We also ordered the fresh pico de gallo and that was fantastic!!! The folks are so kind, the whole experience is great!

Stayed for a week at Coral Mar, and dined here quite a few times. The new Owners, Carlos and his wife Nora, are true, authentic Chefs. They both cook with love and passion. All of the items are prepared fresh and are delicious. They have Authentic Mexican dishes and also some traditional chicken, beef and fish dishes, and daily specials. I loved the chicken with steamed vegetables and white wine sauce as one of the specials, so delicious, with a nice glass of white wine! They have the best Guacamole and chips in all of Mexico! And superb Bar Drinks as well :)Authenticate, cozy atmosphere, friendly and inviting with great food! You have to eat here and experience all they have to offer :)Carolina (Also a WIVC Member)

Found this place based on reviews on Islaholics. I’ll start by saying our bill for two was under $10.00 and we ate lots! It’s a little dive but that’s ok. The food was amazing and the staff friendly. Packed with locals.

Discovered this place a few years back and again this trip. Have had numerous breakfasts. All very good. Scrambled eggs, French toast, omelet — very tasty, very island atmosphere, and sooooo reasonable. We were not fans of their various drink creations but food was excellent. Want to get there for lunches on next trip.

After weeks of planning on where to eat i was most excited to eat here at Dopi’s after hearing about their Molcajetes (tomatoey cheesy sauce) served in a big hot stone mortar pot with skewered steak, calamari, shrimp, veg with tortillas bubbling hot. Oh my god, it was one of the best meal I’ve ever eaten! One was plenty shared with two or people. So much so we went back again for it a couple of days later! Along with chicken burritos- again the best ive ever had, fish taco offer of 180peso with a free margarita and a nice strong one too. What makes Dopi’s extra special is their staff... Raul and his waiters are super friendly and welcoming. Im a big foodie and fussy with what i like/eat, but this place was not just my highlight of my week on isla but my family’s too.

We came here at the recommendation of our concierge and the food was so incredible that we had to come back. The poblano pepper and breakfast quesadilla are both delicious and we are both win agreement that this is some of the best food we have ever had. We will most definitely return to this little gem. An absolute MUST if you’re in Isla Mujeres.
