Reviews on Spanish food in Driebergen, Utrecht Province, The Netherlands. Driebergen is a former village and municipality in the Dutch province of Utrecht. It is first mentioned as Thriberghen in 1159. The former municipality of Driebergen existed until 1931, when it merged with Rijsenburg, to create the new municipality of Driebergen-Rijsenburg. In later years, due to growth of the villages of Driebergen and Rijsenburg, the villages themselves also merged, to become the single town of Driebergen-Rijsenburg. Since 2006, Driebergen-Rijsenburg is part of the new municipality Utrechtse Heuvelrug.

Went for a long bike ride on a Saturday morning, and rode through Zeist. The four of us were all ready for a small lunch, so we stopped at Tapa Tapa. I had the club, which included cucumber and egg; the sandwich was very tasty. Would definitely return and try some of their tapas next time.

We went for the restaurant's specialty, all you can eat spare ribs, and were not disappointed. You can choose between sweet or hot. We choose the hot and they were not really too hot and were wonderful. The meat literally fell off the bone. The meal was accompanied by a nice salad and choice of potato. They had a nice selection of wines for a reasonable price. Service was fast and friendly. This place is a "keeper" and we will return to try something else on the menu.

Champañeria Los Amigos Utrecht is a small bar with a great Spanish atmosphere. We have our own house cava for 1,95 per glass and various small bites for 2 to 6 euros.

We had tapas here twice and are quite happy with this place: the food is great (better even than most tapas bars in Spain), the cava is good, it's a nice concept, Stijn is a friendly and helpful manager and the small restaurant is fun. A place to come back to and see whether Stijn still knows you..
