Just put the address into your GPS and visit this fabulous restaurant. If possible go with a large group. I'll explain why soon. Firstly you'll find virtually only local Italians there - a great start. Secondly you will be astounded at the quality of the food. And finally you will be even more surprised by the moderate price - and the great atmosphere.This is NOT a fine dining destination - it's better! Our party was 16 in number, a mixture of English and Italian friends. Firstly plate after plate of excellent 'starters' were brought - they numbered 20 in all! Brilliant roast vegetables, local specialities, fish, etc etc, washed down with excellent local wine by the carafe, red and white, which kept reappearing as it vanished. We all thought that was it when the waiter offered us either a pizza or pasta to follow. Ignoring the menu, I asked him could he mske a porcini with Sicilian small tomato pizza. Of course! It was the best pizza I've ever eaten, hand made by a showman chef and baked in a wood-fired stone oven in classical Italian style.We're returning next year!

We had to deliver a rented car at Ciampino airport but took the risk of taking lunch on a Saturday (family time) before. I can be brief:. The antipasti (no pasta this time for us) the secondi and the dolce were outstanding with a degree of originality which one at times misses, even in well-known restaurants in Italy. The service and the kitchen were up to an extraordinary standard of efficiency and the waiter remained pleasant and seemingly relaxed in a very full house. The detour to the outskirts of velletri was fully worth it.

Elegant and modern/with a hint of rustic. The waiter speaks very good English. Water is normal with gas added to it. I was offered bruschetta with the families own olive oil. Definitely quality olive oil. The bruschetta was done perfectly as well. They don't have a printed menu rather a more personal touch of explaining what is given for that day. I had a white ragout with pork and beef (Northern Italian style). The spaghetti was fresh. Exquisitely done with a sprig of rosemary. The wine is local and very well placed with the ragout. To finish it off I had a chocolate cake with a pear sauce. All the deserts are made in house as well. The pear sauce is sweetened from its own sugar. The whole desert is perfectly balanced. The service was spot on and quick for italian standard. The price was very reasonable with everything coming under 20 Euro. If having dinner at night call ahead for reservations. Great locale and one not to be missed.

Hello there,well once you enter this lovely sweet friendly place you get the feeling of being in a famous square, in an open space but really you are inside a very fancy pub with a wide selection of high quality beers and not only but also a wine bar with a good number of wines available by the glass profiled on wines of a certain type of origin.The owners are a young couple whose aim is to provide their costumers with comfort and good quality food made with local ingredients and cooked in such a delicious and home made way that you go out wondering what a magical place yet very down to earth.

Last summer my family traveled to Italy and stayed with good friends in Genzano.Our last night we ate at Tigellino restaurant and what a treat it was! A perfect ending to a wonderful trip. The food was fabulous, the service was outstanding, and everyone connected to the restaurant was extremely friendly. It certainly made our visit a memorable one!

We have just spent an evening in Pelliccione. The whole meal was excellent, but the real star of the show was the service.We were made to feel incredibly welcome despite not having too much of the language. We even finished the evening off with Grappa in the Grotto! Please visit if you are in the area. You won't regret it if you want a real Italian feed.
