Went for early dinner at this "beach" restaurant...people come in swimwear. Service was prompt and food was average. Really loved the big portion of vegs. Coffee was lovely.

Our directions was to turn left at the milk farm! Just outside Witsand on a hill overlooking the river mouth. Great views. Staff are super friendly and the food excellent and really well priced for the large portions we got. Great vibe, relaxed!

We thought we discovered a place to have quick meal and a cup of coffee overlooking the sea, but we were the only people in the place, had to wait almost 20 mins for our coffees and teas, and an extra 10mins for 1 sandwich. When the order came, I had a cockroach swimming in my coffee, and no sandwich. The table where we sat at had cockroaches running between over it. One the guys, seemed like he was in charge didn't apologise for the bad service or the bugs. I definitely won't recommend this place.Hi johndoe14, after much consideration we decided to respond to this review. I can confirm that we did indeed communicate to you to find out what the issues were at your table. The cockroach in your coffee was nowhere to be found when we looked for it? I am also absolutely sure that there were in fact no cockroaches running between and over the tables as you suggest. As far as the sandwich goes it indeed did arrive, but you were not interested. We would like to apologize if you did not have the experience that most of our guests do have.You are welcome to contact me should you like to discuss this matter further.
