The service was not great. The food was average but pretty expensive. Had the smoked herring, some smoked salmon, garlic shrimp, sea weed and french fries. Smoked salmon and garlic shrimp was ok, the rest I did not really think was that good.

Caféen ligger på havnen og strikke ud af meget, men inde erden fyldt med lokale fiskere og andet godtfolk, der snakker syngende thybomål. Maden er gode danske cafeteriaretter, men mums, hvor det smager. Vi bestilte stjerneskud og det var hjemmepaneret, store flotte stykker fisk, fanget lige rundt om hjørnet. Det smagte bare godt, og der var rigeligt af både fisk og rejer. Så er du sulten og vil have lidt autentisk Thy, så er det stedet!

We were on a trip with 10 kids, so the restaurant didn't seem like an option. But the restaurants makes really go to-go food, so we bought fish n' chips and fishburgers, and it was really delicious.

We had dinner at Fiskehuset Thisted. It was busy yet there was a relaxed atmosphere, and service with a smile. At dinner they only have their fish buffet which is 199kr pr person. At lunch you can choose between a variety of dishes. The fish is super fresh and many of the dishes are 'home-smoked'. The selection was vast. Vi er så glade for, at I har haft en god oplevelse her :-) Vi kan tilføje, at vi altid har åben - året rundt - til frokost (altid åben, når butikken er åben), og om aftenen (det er mest om sommeren, der er aftenåben) der skifter vi lidt mellem a la carte og buffet m.v., men aktuelle åbningstider og alle menuer er altid opdaterede på vores hjemmeside. I skal være velkomne igen en anden gang :-)

This is a real fishy place Niels Juel is a buffet seafood restaurant, with an amazing view over the North Sea. The buffet price is 169 DKK (appx. 22,50â¬). This is the best restaurant in Klitmøller, and probably in all of Thisted county.

This place is highly recommended. We where there with kids and the atmosphere and calm environment makes it a perfect place. Food is great and not to exspensive. Final is the view is really amazing.
