This traditional chip shop is very popular in the town which means that the food is usually freshly cooked. There's a decent choice of fish, pies and all the usual accompaniments plus kebabs. Service is pretty quick even if there's a queue. There's on street parking right outside and public car parks a short walk away.

Popped in here by chance on Bank holiday Monday. Ordered 4 meals. Great food and great service. Delicious garlic bread!! Staff were lovely and welcoming and very pleasant. Food was very reasonably priced too. They're busy refurbishing out the back with decking so they can have music events. Good luck to them.We will be back

This Chinese Takeaway is in a housing estate and has good parking as it shares the site with a few other businesses including the doctors surgery. The food can be collected or delivered and whichever you choose it is always kept nice and hot. The menu has some different items on it when compared with other local outlets so you can experience new things but still enjoy your favourites. We particularly liked the Hoi Sin Chicken and the Beef in Black Pepper Sauce.
