Seaham, formerly Seaham Harbour, is a small town in County Durham, situated 6 miles (9.7 km) south of Sunderland and 13 miles (21 km) east of Durham. It has a small parish church, St Mary the Virgin, with a late 7th century Anglo Saxon nave resembling the church at Escomb in many respects. St Mary the Virgin is one of the 20 oldest surviving churches in the UK. Seaham is currently twinned with the German town of Gerlingen.

New Takeaway business in Seaham and just had to try them. They do everything from Pizzas, parmesans, fish and chips, kebabs and burgers. My boys had a double Quarter Pound Cheese Burger and a Pepperoni pizza. My wife and I had BBQ Parmesans. The food was absolutely delicious and hot. Even the boys have enjoyed their burger and pizza as well. Even though they said it would be delivered within 30 minutes I knew that it would be that, but it was still very hot.

Visited here before with little to complain about, but this time there was far too much grease in the fish, I say fish there was more batter than actual fish. The chips were tasteless. The plus is that it was £5.20 and the service was fast. I donât think Iâll be back as this experience had put us off.

Crikey!! What large portions you have!!We had to share a wicked chesseburger quesadilla as we had seen another patron chomping one.What can I say?Lovely service. Comfortable surroundings and excellent 80s playlist and super tasty food.Another great treat in Seaham. Thank you.

This is a small mobile restaurant serving locally sourced produce, mainly seafood, which is also extremely seasonal. It only has outside seating, and the menu is by its nature limited - and in the case of the seafood, to what was caught that morning, but that means it is fresh fresh fresh. We chose lobster, which was not expensive, and picked our own when it was still alive as they had literally just been delivered.It was simply grilled with a hint of chilli and served with a pomegranate and rocket salad, coleslaw and fries. It was scrummy. The mackrel served with foraged wild garlic sounded tempting as well - maybe next time if its still on.They also had on the menu crab, mussels,king prawns,haddock, seabass and cockles!! They also do a kiddies menu and quite a few were having the jumbo fishfinger sandwich - looked nice.Could have done to have the odd parasol as the sun today was fierce, but lets face it in this country thats not a frequent occurance.If you are lucky enough to catch this 'moveable feast' please try it - its a little gem.

Had been here several times previously and food was OK. Today chips were stripey brown and basically inedible. Did not realise too much in shop light. Outside became evident they were of poor quality. Ate only a couple of whole chips and a few bites around the edges of some others. Nearly whole box went to the starlings.Never will visit again. I waited such a long time just for chips and could not eat as bad tasting. Waste of time and money. Also this place is overpriced for small portions and poor quality. I had stopped eating fish from here as was always very dry and not juicy, like the other fish shops I go to. The chips were usually alright from here, but after today will not be frequenting again.
