Of the 3 days spent at Praia do Forte, we had lunch here on two of them. The food is simply FANTASTIC. Preparation is impeccable, presentation as well, but the taste is out of this world! We ate a moqueca for one (which served two grown women with ease) which was simply delicious. I cannot emphasise how GOOD this dish was. The children had some fish and vegetables from the kids menu, and had a feast as well. A plus for this restaurant is that they have a playing area for children, which is incredibly helpful for parents. They also have a baby changing table and at least one high chair. It's located on the varanda of a building, so you can see the coming and froing of the people without being directly onto the street. Staff were extremely nice and accommodated all of our requests (especially to make potate puree for the children), albeit a bit on the slow side. Come early if you want to choose your place and sit by the playing area. I will come back to Mediterraneus again and again, definitely, every time I'm in Praia do Forte!

We went to this restaurant on the advice of hotel staff. The food is homemade and of high quality ingredients. The Ravioli Fenomeno was excellent with fresh mushrooms. The Spaghetti Putanesca had good ingredients but was overly salty (a common attribute to food in the Northeast of Brazil). We had to ask for cheese which came after the food, and we asked for some bread to accompany the pasta and were charged an exorbitant 20 Reais (USD 7). We had thought that would be complementary or minimal cost, and not one-third the price of a full dish made from scratch. The ambience of the restaurant is nice and comfortable.

Walking through the centrinho we hit this place with just a few tables but great options of seafood dishes. I opt to share the shrimp with nuts meanwhile my child had the pasta with chicken Comparing to others restaurants, so far, the best price-performance I had in Praia do Forte

The restaurant is in the village centre. Nice decor, no air conditioning but the fans make it work. The moqueca is aboslutely great. We came back twice!

Everything we had there was tasty! The bruschettas were great and the risottos( mushroons and other with salmon, pinaple and champagne!) were outstanding! Seriously! I love risotto, so I have eaten in different places, I know what I'm talking about!The decoration is nice and because it's located a little out of the Main Street, it is a calm and romantic ambient.

We ate here on the first evening in the resort and had a very good meal.The staff were helpful and offered to move tables when a front one came free!Busy with locals, which is a good sign. I believe closed Sunday evenings.

Decent- leaning towards expensive prices, amount of food was ok, but I was still hungray afterwards. Food was nothing particularly great. After reading the other reviews on tripadvisor, I was kind of disappointed as I had expected more of this place.

Visiting Praia do Forte with my family.Stopped by Bistro da Xica to have a lateLunch. We were welcome by a very very simpatetic waitress that explained all the options of the menu, that was basically shrimps or fish or sun dryer meat. We have chosen the Shrimp with coconut cream for tree that was awesome, with rice with spices and âfarofa de bananaâ. As a desert our option was âcocada moleâ with cupuaçu ice cream!!! A must try!!! I really recommend!!Olá Flavio,Que bom que você gostou do nosso famoso "camarão ao creme de côco" e da nossa sobremesa. Obrigada pelas palavras e pela visita de vocês.
