It is a restaurant in the old catholic style. With all kinds of religious parts. The menu also shows specialities of the region. Did like the total atmosphere and for a monday lunchtime there where quite some guests. We enjoyed the lunches very much and the Hasselt coffee is indeed something to try!

Quite a nice restaurant, good decor, clean etc.One of many along the main street. A good selection on the menu.I had a steak which was ok, but under cooked in the middle.as is common in a lot of these places, if you order a steak thats it! You need to order sides separate. i chose the middle size and that was plenty for me. prices seemed about average for the area.

We recently had dinner at Te Koop in Tilburg at the suggestion of relatives who live in Tilburg. Te Koop is located in a "typical" suburban street just off the Ringbaan Oost. The restaurants decor is modern with many interesting items and artwork around the walls. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The Chef came to the table to greet us and offered suggestions for dinner. We all decided on Chef's Menu of three courses. All courses were beautifully presented and were delicious. We accompanied the meal with a selection of both red and white wine. I highly recommend Te Koop, great food and service.

A very busy fully booked restaurant on the 2nd day of Christmas and still able to do an a la carte menu. We did not go for that and took the 'surprise' menu. There was a mix of fish and meat but also the choise to not like one or the other. With 3 at our table, one wanted wish, the other only meat and the third person took the mix. This was NO problem or them. We had dinner at a nice speed and it was good too. Nice atmosphere in a 'historic' kind of place.

We alway visit this restaurant on our visits to this part of Holland. It serves good quality contemporary cuisine in an efficient and friendly manner. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. It's popular so definitely worth booking.

I picked this restaurant randomly at New year's eve. There wasn't much open therefore we just went to the first one we saw open.The staff was super friendly. The food was good. There wasn't a lot of noise. It's not a fancy restaurant, you eat well for a reasonable price. The motto of the restaurant is "Sate and steaks", and they deliver just that, several dishes with sate and some nice steaks (also without sate).Overall, it was a good experience.

In 2010 the terrace was rated 1st of the Netherlands and must say.... it's a beautiful scenery. Service is attentive and food is good... Nice in combinaton with a stroll in the forest a few carminutes away (http://www.natuurmonumenten.nl/bcoisterwijk)

Sec is just amazing. If you visit Oisterwijk, you have to eat there. A starter like mussels in curry cocos sauce was just fantastic. The tournedos, so tender. All fresh products. The staff is friendly and they know their ingredients. I will definitely go back again.

We had a family lunch in the separate Tuinkamer. Airconditioning helped as it was one of the warmer days of the year. After a nice welcome and bubbles, the three course menu (choices for starter, main and desert) was good. Very nice presentation and timely service. The food was good but perhaps somewhat overcomplicated with too many ingredients fighting for recognition. We heard no complaints and everyone enjoyed the beautiful plates. The extra charge for a cheese board instead of sweet desert was a bit excessive but the cheese selection was ok. House wines are priced slightly too high for the quality. The friandises should be changed - the current selection is not great nor are the tastes very well balanced. All in all a very nice lunch and we gladly return. Service is friendly.
