Nice atmosphere inside this restaurant, they have a good beer selection at good prices. Their drink menu is huge with any selection you may think off, Good prices on local vodka.The plates are good size and fulfilling. Also, some bar food available. The only weird thing is that they charge you about 50 rubles for additional ketchup, ranch or dressings.Service is good although is not as fast as here in the US. You have to bring a lot of patience to Russia's restaurants

This is one of my two favorite Italian places in Nizhny. It has superb ambiance and first rate, attentive service and great food, albeit all at high prices. The pizza is superb, thin-style. All ingredients are said to be brought from Italy. The location is a bit odd, on the upper floor of the elite Lobachevsky shopping center not far from Minin Square on Alexeevskaya Street, but once you get inside the restaurant you forget you are in the shopping center. Frankly, until you look out the window if you have a table near the windows you forget you are in Russia. Highly recommended if you don't mind spending for quality.

This resturant just on the road overlooking river Volga is very pleasant one. The location in first floor gives a fantastic view of the river. The ambience is good. The staff is very pleasant... Food is quite good.. Two out of our 4 were vegetarians... They could give good grilled vegetables along with rice...which included the wild rice etc...quite good. Happy to have been to thisrestyrant

This restaurant was fantastic. My husband and I went here based on reviews, and they were spot on. The decoration follows the "Ekspeditsia" idea - everything looks rough and outdoorsy, lots of maps. But the tables are nice and the chairs are quite comfortable.The food is fantastic. First, they brought us a bread basket. I have lived in Russia for 6 years and this is the FIRST TIME I have received a free bread basket. The braed was delicious. We drank their homemade mors - both cranberry and bilberry and it was also great. Over the course of our four day stay we ate here twice, and therefore managed to eat quite a lot. Therefore, we can personally recommend: the deer sausage, duck salad, wild boar, wildfowl and deer burger.The only minus is thinking too hard about what you are eating. I couldn't order the moose, even though it's probably also great.

Numerous reviews claim it is one of the best restaurants in the city. Well, maybe it is. The food is good. But not at all outstandingly delicious. The design is nice, but pretentious and polite waiters still make you feel you've entered some incredibly significant place. The menu titles make are also made to impress. It would have been much better if Mitrich had less showing off. The burger of "marble beef" and a country-style potato were just fine. The prices are close to those of Moscow.I would recommend this place and its food, but don't have exaggerated expectations please.
