I had the great pleasure on July 1 to attend a wedding reception meal catered by Chef Rossi in Como. The menu was largely seafood-themed and one lovely thing followed another. Appetizers included prosciutto and lardo concoctions, poached shrimp, cured salmon, and tuna tartare accompanied by prospect with or without peach or orange juice. The meal proper featured pasta with a red snapper ragù, a Sicilian squid soup, and an extraordinary risotto with blueberries and blue Stilton cheese. The show stopper was a perfectly cooked filet of Mediterranean umbrine - a firm white flavorful fish that reminded me of tai - with asparagus cream on a chickpea mousse. Before the amazing wedding cake of millefoglie covered in Chantilly cream we had a palette cleansing fresh cherry sorbet accompanied by a perfect San Patrimo Negroamaro from Solento. The entire meal was put together in the kitchen of the bride's parents' home and served in their incredible garden. If Chef Rossi can produce such wonders in someone else's kitchen, I can only imagine what he manages at Al Rustica itself.... The cost, which included all food, wine, service, and tables, chairs, china, crystal, and cutlery, was a very reasonable â¬110 per person.

This place is located in a town between Como and Lecco (closer to Lecco), which is by the Pusiano Lake and is called Bosisio Parini.This restaurant can be found in the center of this nice town, which is pretty small.The local is a mix of pizzeria, tavern and restaurant, and the ambience is quite simple.Even if the restaurant seems to have no big claims, the inner furniture is quite traditional and well cared for, it gives you an idea of ââall clean.The waiter and waitress are both kind and professional.The menu shows a wide choice of appetizers, main courses and side dishes, and they have also fish and pizza as well!We tried seafood pasta with bread crust and it was amazing, delicious.The dish was also pretty huge in quantity.We could even try their black bread which was a pleasurable surprise.I ordered even a bowl of strawberries, and they were nice.The prices are meanly low, above all if you compare them to the quality.

Been invited for a dinner with friends,what a nice surprise to discover this recently opened restaurant serving also great drinkk, pizzas and playing dj music . The space can accomodate several persona between the various areas, there is a sort of winter garden where the bar is places t, with a touch of vintage furnishing that is in my opinion the most charming . Dining room ,played in a sort of rustic chic whitish tones has less atmosphere. The restaurant is pratically three meters away from the waters of lake of Pusiano and its shores..That means with its generous open terraces overlooking it and with a eye stopping panorama , it might be a real good warmed days option for whatever you might feel like , snack, drinks or a complete leal. Service extremely friendly and smiling , food lovely and prices adequate .I am waiting for better days to enjoy it with its full charme, in the meantime I bookmarked as places to returnThank you so much dear guest for this beautiful review.We hope to see you again very soon.RegardsFabienne - La Limonaia - Merone

Not easy to recognize from the outside still well worth to look for it, remarkably in this area of the region that for sure does not shine for good places as this is. Once we walked inside we were immediately greeted with genuine pleasure and both the lady and the younger dame taking care of the service made everything for us to have a good experience. So it was, with a menu half on fish and half on meat, with some succulent risolttos and always a feeling of being well treated. All the dishes including dessert did receive high appreciation, and the wine list, though not excessively long ( and with soe wines sold out) is intelligent and unobvious.The place is small with two rooms dedicated to dining but their intense love for doing things alright deserves appreciation as we all did. It is not a fancy or trendy place, it is "just" a place dedicated to well being and well dining.We will definitely return

I have been fortunate to experience some lovely restaurants in my life, all over the world, and without doubt this is amongst the very best. Situated in a small town, this charming restaurant serves the highest quality dishes, and world class wines. The ambience of the restaurant is stunning, and the service impeccable - I would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area - although I would imagine that booking is essential

Vintage restaurant very romantic.Super friendly staff, quick and good service.Fish dishes with a wide selection to choose from.Our appetizer was bit too small and the main dish was slightly overcooked, but overall the food is one of the best delivered in the area.Poor wine list compared to the quality of food, this should definitely be improved.Reccomended

Although limited in menu selections, which also change daily, the appetizer and entrée selections were absolutely excellent. Service was extremely friendly and professional with menu items explained very capably at the table. Wine choices were excellent, and the pricing was reasonable. This is a restaurant that you would want to enjoy more than once.

Delicious tempura-style halibut, tasty stone-cooked steak, and refreshing grapefruit sorbet. I would definitely recommend the food at the Il Corazziere restaurant. The restaurant has a 'retro' feel, but not in a bad way. There was a live keyboard player, who was sort of an acquired taste but he was an endearing feature! The main thing, the food, was delicious, and at a fair price. Recommended!
