We were staying near Tucepi in Croatia during a weekâs holiday In June 2019. We had never been to the area and chose to eat at Restaurant Tenor as it was very welcoming.During our weeks stay we had two wonderful meals at the restaurant and on both occasions the food and service were fantastic. Our group ate a variety of meals from the menu including traditional Croatian dishes and we could not fault the quality and presentation of the food. Our lovely waiter could not have been more helpful and on both occasions we had the most wonderful experience.I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are visiting the area and if you enjoy steak; you are in for a treat.Amazing value for money!

Dined there last night, great location, overlooking the sea, attitude of staff, helpful, smiling faces, and knowledgable ...The food probably the best in Podgora, and we have tried 5 others.Had the spaghetti with prawns and salmon, excellent.Partner had chicken skewer with feta salad.Go trust me u will enjoy, a very varied menu.In fact we are going again tonight

The restaurant is very nice and have a good service. It is very popular so we recommend you to book in advance to get a table. We came without a reservation, but they managed to find a table to us if we came back 30-40 minutes later. We were very happy for that. Both of us ordered todays fish filet that was tuna. As side we had boiled potatoes and spinach that was recommended to us. The tuna filet was extremely tender and very good. The only thing we were missing was some more taste either through the side or as a sauce. If you are ever in Makarska this is a restaurant that we would recommend to visit.

The greeting we received was excellent and the welcome pate and bread was appreciated. The wine recommended was exceptional and the 2 soups to start tasteful and could recommend it. One of the main courses was slow cooked lamb probably reheated, overcooked and tasteless. The deserts were average. Then the evening changed, a table for 4 next to was occupied by 4 locals who continuously smoked. When we booked the table they knew we were non smokers so a table in a non smoking area could have been set aside, but it seems every other person in Croatia smokes which is allowed. We was looking forward to finishing our holiday with a first class meal which was not the case. Dear guest,Thank you for your review. We are glad that you visited our restaurant. About the lamb you were eating, it is not often that someone is not pleased with our lamb. That lamb is from Croatian farms, always fresh. It is cooked for 5-7 hours. But, we can leave with that, we are aware that mistakes are part of our business, it happens sometimes, but lucky for us not so often. You told you were unhappy with lamb and we removed it from your table and gave you steak "Riva" instead. You were delighted with steak and we think that it is little bit unfair not to mention that. Also that we offer you desert on the house that to did not want, instead you took glass of vine. Like that, we are also pretty sure that you mentioned that you are non smokers that we would try to please you and find you a table somewhere on a side. But again when some guest are entering in a restaurant and they are going to sit at the table next to you, we can not ask them do they smoke. You have to understand that smoking on a terrace is allowed in Croatia, and we can do nothing about that. Asking and splitting people on a smokers and non smokers on the terrace where smoking is allowed it would be an encroachment on human rights. Give us another chance sometimes, we are sure you will be happy next time ;)Best regards, Riva stuff

Cozy restaurant away from the main square. Delicious food but the star attraction is their seafood platter for 2. Very generous servings of whole fish, prawns, squid, scamp mussels and clams all cooked simply but beautifully. Staff were friendly and service was good.

Bokun is a clear standout from the restaurants on Tucepi beachfront all competing for business. Iâve been coming here for 5 years now in the summer and their professionalism and outstanding food and service is so welcoming and surpasses all my expectations. They offer a refreshing choice compared to other restaurants which all seem to have identical menus. Their menu choice is Croatian with a mixture of other Mediterranean choices. For travellers that donât have breakfast included with their accommodation Bokun is a clear cut winner with their English breakfast, omelettes or fresh croissants with the best cappuccino on offer all this while enjoying the Sea views while your kids happily swim in the water within view. Lunch offers of juicy burgers and Croatian street food and dinner of gorgeous fresh seafood with superb wines whilst watching the sunset over the water view. Just heaven

In general, a holiday in Croatia should include lots of fish and seafood. But a visit at Ranc should include MEAT!Ranc has meat of fabulous standards. Just ask to see their glassdoor fridge with the delious, aged beef. Wow! And afterwards, the grill wizards do magic to the meat.I havenât had a steak of this quality and precise cooking since Mendoza, Argentina 15 years ago. My order was âramsteak, medium rareâ - and it hit bullseye. Price: HKR 150.My wife had lamb chops; delicious meat, grilled to perfection.First we had a tartare (same good meat, but raw) and an octopus salad (not bad, but not the best i Croatia this far).Out waiter offered very good advice on meat and wines and had an incredible level of energy. Does he and he collegues take speed?Oh, I forgot to mention that Ranc is the most cozy and somewhat intimate restaurant. You sit under olive trees, and each table in the huge restaurant feels like an isolated island. Brillant design.Remember to make a reservation!
