Stopped by this seafood restaurant on Boston Rd in Springfield recently. The restaurant features a novel approach to serving their seafood. Everything comes boiled in a bag. I choose 1 lb of boiled shrimp which came with my choice of seasoning and hot sauce. Bag also contained potato and small ear of corn. Wife went with steamed clams. Both choices were very good. Be prepared to eat a messy meal as you pick the food out of the boil bag. The servers give you gloves and a bib. Service was friendly, food tasted fresh, restaurant was clean. Have been to these seafood restaurants before but not here in the New England. Prices were moderate.

I had the luncheon special seared scallops. They were perfectly seared and were among the best I've had. The presentation was nice. They were served with a swirl of sweet potato and 3 or 4 stalks of asparagus roasted with a bacon wrap. Service was good. My friend had a salad with chicken and said it was good. There's a nice view of the pond at lunch time.

Family breakfast for seven, breakfast was very good,service was a whole different story,seated and ordered and then commenced to wait 40 minutes for our food in a not crowded restaurant, one in our party had to send his pancake back as the server admitted it had been cooked earlier than everyone else's food,our server was average at best and kept apologizing for ineptitude in the kitchen,at one point I saw one young server walking around aimlessly with a tray of food trying to figure out what her purpose was,Wow!!! You don't run a restaurant with inexperienced teenagers!!! Food was good it's a shame, they don't get the service end of the business

This restaurant was on a list recommended by our hotel, and after reading the reviews here, we decided to give it a try. There was only one other couple, being past dinner time on a Sunday, so we had great service and food came out quick. My husband really enjoyed his shrimp, and my roast beef was also very tasty, esp the sauteed mushrooms. The restaurant is smallish, but with separate bar area and banquet facilities. Loved the fish tank, a nice homey touch. If we lived around here, we would be regulars.

George has the freshest fish in the area and cooks it with the cleanest oil and Tastiest seasonings. The quantity to the quality and cost is unbeatable. My favorite is the whole belly fried clams and our 2nd choice is his fried fish and chips. Plan to bring your appetite!. FRESH FISH is available to buy and take home...if you prefer to cook your own! But, why when he cooks it just right!

Believe the positive reviews on this restaurant. The wait staff works hard to make your visit a good experience through approach to service and knowledge of food. The non-sushi food came out of the kitchen hot and done right. Our sushi order took longer but was worth the wait. Being the best in the areas a nice crown to wear and they deserve it.
