This was a pleasant restaurant. The food was above average and beautiful presented. The scenery was nice, the facilities was pleasant and the waiters polite. There where a bit too few waiters so the dinner took some time to be get out. The drinks and refreshments did not really come as frequent as wanted, but then you will avoid the heavy head the next day. The place is for a bit more formal eating, but the price range is low for such a place. The dishes is a bit on the small side to be Germany, but then you have a good excuse to get dessert, which was very good

We have visited this restaurant end of Nov 14 with a big family, all ages. Very nice menu's for a good price. Quality is good, enough food. Extra's if needed. We had 3 courses and every course served at the same time with little time in between. Very good service too! A restaurant we will visit more often!!

This restaurant is located near the border to the Netherlands. They offer special deal on Thursday, all pizza & pasta plus one soft drink for 6⬠so make sure you reserve a table. We were a large group of 9 people and the staff took our order quickly. The whole restaurant was packed when we arrived so the staff had little time for small chat. But the food for all the guests arrived at the same time and were very warm. The pizzas and noodle were delicious. My husband had schnitzel and in my opinion, the sauce was a little too much. All in all, this restaurant offers a good deal but expect ok service and the whole restaurant will be a bit loud because of many guests.

We really enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant. We had no booking but could still be seated on the terrace as it was not col. After some beef croquettes (bitterballen) as snack appetizer with our local beer we decided to go for the 2 services menu at a very good price of about 23â¬. We chose a beef tartare and crunchy tuna fish as starter. Both were very good. Then we had a beef "onglet" with root celery asparagus and mushrooms. Although the sauce was supposzd to be truffled the truffle taste was very discreet but the dish was excellently balanced in tastes. The chips were excellent but in very small quantity. We drank a local wine which was a good value for money (donersfeld). Bread and butter very tasty too! This was an excellent surprise in Heerlen!

While staying in the Golden Tulip hotel (at wich this restaurant is located at the fifth floor) on sunday we choose to eat here, Food was prepared with great care, portions were fined. Professional and friendly service. Good prices.

My partner and I visited this beautiful venue as part of a L'Etoile package with the Kasteel TerWorm in Heerlen. We were picked up from the Kasteel (on a very rainy evening) by a very cheerful and enthusiastic taxi driver (or so we thought!).When we arrived, the chap pulled out a brolly to escort us into the restaurant where we were greeted by the very helpful and as expected, English speaking staff. To our surprise, when we sat down, the 'taxi driver' turned out to be one of the staff at the restaurant! He was an absolute star, a real 'character'!The owner of the restaurant came up to welcome us and we thought this was a very nice touch. The 'taxi driver' then came to explain the wine choices to accompany our meal. My goodness, fabulous food, fabulous wine, fabulous venue and excellent staff / service.Our taxi driver then turned out to be the 'Maître_fromager' and was extremely enthusiastic about the 'ridiculous' amount of cheeses on offer for the cheeseboard!A superb twist to the evening and we couldn't thank the staff or our surprise chauffeur for the evening. FANTASTIC.

We wanted to celebrate an early Christmas with family and after trying a few restaurants which were all fully booked we managed to book a table for six in this restaurant. The food was indeed great, as it should be for those prices, the atmosphere was quite nice as well, a pity they were not into the Christmas spirit yet but the service was painfully slow although they don't have that many table. Also the lady who would come to announce the special and some other things spoke so softely one could hardly hear her. Bottom line, it we had a great time but for that price one expects everything to be perfect!

Fine dining experience. Italian cuisine with a local twist. Enjoyed it. You can sit inside, on the beautiful terrace outside or just in between. Staff thought that the excellent Livar pork came from Italy. A mistake. It is even more local than expected (LImburg VARken). Good friendly service. Dear Guest, Thank you for your review! Been here two times now and both times the food was excellent! The 2nd time we had dinner outside, which was great. Only downside was the confusion about the 2-course and 3-course menu. Apparently the 2-course menu has different options, but we were not told about this so assumed that we could chose from the entire menu. They told us that they are changing the menu cards soon though, so hopefully that will also clear up the confusion! And in the end we were charged the price for the 2-course menu in spite of the confusion, so great service!

A very nice Italian (but not exclusively, definitely more than just pizza and pasta) restaurant. Not too fancy but also not too casual. Decent prices and good food. I personally recommend their deer (if it's the season for it obviously). Calling for reservation is recommended (but that's normal at most restaurants nowadays).
