Staying in the bourbon hotel down the street, this place was really handy. Nice food, and great for having tapas/appetisers and a caipirinha or two sat outside watching the world go by. Most of the plate were for two and were a good size portion. Main meals were really good too. Some good music in the evenings with guitarists.

Restaurante Pedrinni de Frutos Do Mar

It is quite well kept facility with an inviting environment decorated with soothing colours to relax and make you ready to eat. All tables are very well organised with plenty room around them for easy transit of patrons and waiters. It was a very good first impression as you walk in.The waiter explained what they served and handed over the menu for me to browse....at first sight it seemed to be quite expensive as many Trip contributors commented...a single dish cost R$100 upwards whilst "all you can eat" ("rodízio") cost R$67.90 (as of June/2018; US$20)....it is like inducing you to choose the rodízio. Lol. Either it is a strategy or it is a very bad management of cost estimating of the single dishes :( lol. Anyway it is their business......But if you close your eyes for health issues for a moment, and consider that you eat at this type of restaurants only now and then and you can ask for refills or seconds of any of the dishes served, I think it is worthed. But if you have health concerns on eating fried dishes than this place maybe is not for you :(So after asking for rodízio, the order of dishes was as follows :1) fish soup with toastit was really good soup...the stock was really very good, it was thick (I mean, it had "body"), but still smooth, you could taste the full flavour of seafood, without any distraction of herbs and any kind of condiments, it was pure seafood flavour!!! Lol...I still manage to "fish" few pieces of nice flakes of fish filet.... I really enjoyed it...and there was no need of toasted bread....Much is said about the lack of flavour of the dishes of this restaurant. Please bear in mind that any herb and condiment to anyone's liking could easily kill the flavour of the delicate seafood taste, and the cook/chef has to balance well to maintain the taste of the sea....otherwise it won't be "seafood", but "flavourfood" or the like. 2) prawn "tempura", fish schnitzel and "casquinha de siri" (crab meat in its shell). The casquinha de siri is a seasoned shredded crab meat stuffed in a crab shell and baked...this is a very unique Brazilian dish! It is very good!Yes, I have to agree these three items are fried... My servings weren't soggy in oil, which is good, but still fried :(However the fish was really really tiny piece....like 3 cm x 3 cm!!! That was ridiculous :(. I know I could have asked few times of it! Lol3) fried whole prawn:....again fried stuffs....but, IMHO, there is nothing better way to eat prawns, but fried...you may not agree...but I tasted stewed, bbqed, raw, steamed, etc....but none of them is better than fried....lol...it is just me...This whole prawns are deep fried, so that you may eat head, shell and tail like a crispy chip lol.It is so good...!!!4) steamed prawns and mussels : yay...not fried!!! Both steamed to the right point, they were soft and juicy. 5) Baked Salmon with passionfruit sauce.. unfortunately, the salmon was overcooked, which was a capital mistake :(. I thought the passionfruit sauce didn't match with salmon at all to my liking ....6) those small bows contain rice, "bobo de camarão" (prawns stew), which seems to be their own creation, but not even close to the "original" one from the State of Espírito Santo (if i am not mistaken), which is much richer stock and full of flavour with other kinds of seafood items. 7) buffet of salad: quite limited selection and they could emphasise more green and raw produces to increase the healthiness of their menu. Perhaps, they should add a small bowl of typical "peixada", stew of fish, which besides being a flavoursome and tasteful dish it could balanced out the rodízio of all fried items, making them "healthier"....lol (not quite sure though )Being seeing as a healthy eatery could add value and possibly more clients, especially nowadays, without losing the focus of being a seafood restaurant. If you don't mind eating "now and then" fried food, then this could be an option for you "now and then" ....:)Gostaríamos de agradecer seu depoimento, crítica e opinião, pois nos ajudam a identificar o caminho para o aprimoramento de nossos serviços.Buscamos resolver quaisquer eventuais experiências não positiva dentro de nossa casa.O serviço relatado não condiz com a qualidade do Restaurante Pedrinni. Atmosphere small but cozy. Owner look greets personally and very friendly. Very pretentious attendants. Let's get down to dinner. We ordered an excellent fish stock of sole. Then a pirão with breaded hake fish. Perfect. Excellent value for money. It has parking.
