This a a loud restaurant/sports bar. I have food allergies and requested that my food be prepared separate and away from seafood.I was told it would be done separately by would not gtd cross contamination. The seafood my husband had was poor quality. This is in a bad area with gentlemen's clubs on every corner. It did not look clean and the service was so-so

After spending all day on the beach we decided to try out this restaurant. The location was great and the atmosphere was perfect. Service was outstanding. Those are the pluses. I order the scallops in a basket and was told they would be small. They were extremely small and almost tasteless. I had them deep fried which was a mistake, because I think that actually overwhelmed the little guys. The sweet potato fries were more like shoe string size and you could tell they were from a bag of frozen potato's. I will probably give this place another try, but would go for something much simpler like a salad. Price was about right for a beach front establishment.

After reading other Trip Advisor it was a must visit for seafood. The service was a little slow but the blackened scallops I had were outstanding. They had a nice selection of seafood choices. A definite return trip is in the future.Thank you for your kind words!

We were looking for an Italian Restaurant with atmosphere and good food. Well we found it here. Our waiter Daneal was excellent and was extremely professional in presentation and service. The food was excellent. I had the Salmon and my wife and the Veal Scaloppini (sp) For dessert we had the light taramusu.(sp) . You will not be disappointed with anything on the menu. We will make a special trip there from Saint Augustine.

The location is great (inside Hilton) with a view of the ocean (literally on the beach). The wine menu is extensive. Well-rounded food menu, as well, with vegan and gluten free options (not too many). The filet mignon was cooked perfectly, but they could do away with the "onion straws." Those were flavorless and did not look appetizing. The flourless chocolate cake was dry. All in all, an elegant establishment, excellent staff with impeccable manners.

worst nacho's ever in my whole life , high priced , no tvs on the deck area , so if you smoke no football to watch , real let down from what we had heard .Rand, I've carefully read your short review. I want to let you know your experience at Riptides is very uncommon.It is our practice to always give great service and to serve only the best never frozen fish and top-shelf Alaskan snow crab. We take great pride in our product and our staff as you can see by the several excellent reviews we receive online. People rave about the live music on our deck area - 7 nights a week. Smoking is not allowed inside the restaurant, you are correct - it is a state and local ordinance. We work very hard to keep our menu affordable for our guests and to price match our competitors. However, we sell a premium never frozen seafood product unlike most of our competitors. If you notice from our several hundreds of 5 star reviews, we have the best quality of seafood in town. Nearly half our menu is filled with full meals available under $20.00 and several under $12.00. As far as beverages, we offer an extensive 12-page menu full of a variety of beverages to please everyone including $15.00 32oz. rum buckets. We also have several more affordable beers you could have chosen like $2.00 Riptides pilsner pints all day every day and $1.00 pints from 11-4. Our beer menu consists of normal domestic beers, also we provide premium local craft brews on the higher end. Here at Riptides, we have never found anyone who regrets buying the best. You should have received everything you ordered in a reasonable amount of time cooked to perfection. We deeply apologize for the experience that you had and appreciate you taking time out of your vacation to give us your feedback.

there were 2 of us out for a late lunch/early dinner. We were both looking for fish so we decided to try Bonefish in Ormond.We walked in and this smiling, happy young man seated us and told us that Chris our server would be right over. And right he was.Chris, was professional, interesting and very knowledgeable about the menu. Our food was wonderful. I had the shrimp tacos and my partner had cod. Out of this world.To start the menu we shared the beef pot stickers. They alone could have been a dinner.We are now deciding when to go back. If you visit this restaurant on a weekend you will need reservations and be sure to ask to sit in Chris's section. This will add to your experience.

We ate at Sessions Restaurant while staying at the Hard Rock Hotel Daytona. Not wanting to drive anywhere we ate dinner there 3 out of 4 nights. My wife fell in love with the Blackened Chicken Sandwich (sans bread or cheese) and a vegetable. We even asked the chef what the seasoning was. Hopefully it can be duplicated at home. It was very flavorful and moist; not like most chicken breasts. One night I had the buffalo wings as an entree along with the tator tot appetizer as a side. The tator tots were cover with blue cheese and bacon bits. Loved it! I have to gush about the special that was highly recommended by the server and was convinced to give it a try: the spaghetti squash entree. The squash was cooked, scooped out and mixed with crabmeat and seasonings, put back in the gourd, topped with a breadcrumb cheese mix and cooked in a broiler. Oh my goodness was it good! I am a lover of spaghetti squash anyway but they mixed it with some kind of sauce loaded with crabmeat. It didnât last long at all! It was well worth it and a definite do over.

Loved the menu. So many different and unique choices to pick from. I had the shrimp and scallops in the phyllo bowl. It was different and delicious. We were a party of 16 and they handled us with ease. Everyone was pleased with their lunch. Would happily come back here again.Thank you for the great review. We are happy you enjoyed your visit!
