Combinati is always reliable for a decent, well-priced meal in the center of Guaruja's Pitangueiras Beach. Order the basics, fish with broccoli and garlic, or chicken with salad and you can't go wrong. Their eggplant (beringela) and garlic bread are to die for. Recommended.

Avelino's is the only restaurant in Guaruja, that I know is really at the beach. The food is very well don, specially fish. The dishes can be shared by two or three people. You can even drink good wine if you want.

With a nice location by the water and in reach of local organic sea food we had high expectations about this restaurant. Extensive menu and good service but prices are comparable to top restaurants, only lacking the high standard in sophistication and flavor. Apparently is very popular amongst the wealthy middle class in Guaruja and the place is really popular and crowded. The only explanation is probably a cultural difference in tasting of what sea food can be. The prices are absurdly high but the portions are really big, which they fail tô I form.It is a good place for drinks and appetizers, overlooking the ocean, nothing else.

Went with my girlfriend for dinner. The atmosphere was great with live music. She ordered fish and I ordered "picanha". Really poor service. Waiters really didn't feel like serving us. The fish tasted terrible and the "picanha" was ordered medium-rare and it came looking like charcoal. We re-ordered, and the waiter complained. Meat tasted really bad and we left frustrated...

My wife and I were looking for something that wasn't fried/semi-healthy to eat for our evening meal and had seen Monduba as we walked by daily. Restaurant wasn't very busy and we were seated and served quickly by a friendly young waiter. We explained we were in a bit of a rush and were assured our food would be prompt which it was.My wife had salmon and passion fruit which came with mash, salad and veg (could've been slightly less cooked, but very much prefer it this side of the coin), she enjoyed it. I had the filet mignon with mandioca mash, onions two ways (crispy battered and caramelized) there was a small pot of rice accompanying too. Meat was cooked slightly pink in trhe middle, wasnt asked how i prefer so perhaps ask if you like it different to medium. Only thing missing from this dish was a few bits of veg to a) brighten it up b) give me some fibre. All in all 59R$ for salmon, 69R$ for the steak. Good portion sizes and very tasty food.

Even though Dalmo seems to be a bit pricey, you know youâre having quality products. Food is delicious and the service is great! Waiters are very friendly. Mixed seafood risotto is very fresh and well prepared. Only negative point is that they have high chair for toddlers that doesnât fit the little ones.

I was in Chopp Halle for a Sunday lunch and it was really a pleasure. It is a charming, comfortable and well served restaurant. We have eaten a grilled chorizo and it was really good. It is not cheap but I was satisfied, because if you want quality you need to spend more. I suggest Chopp Halle. I think a nice place to have lunch or dinner with own wife or girlfriend or with family and or friends.

A charming mix of restaurant/cantina style with a varied menu of traditional Brazilian food serving not only different receipts of fish (you are in a beach city after all) but also beef and chicken meals. The restaurant is not too big and can get very busy after 2:00PM in the weekend but apart from that the service was impeccable (including the waiter which spoke English to us). Food was tasty and fresh, served as ordered. Nice mix of fruits and drinks, with a honest price.

We selected Bucefalus after having read the eulogistic reviews in TripAdvisor. We were very disappointed. We were there for lunch. The decor was minimum: wooden tables and chairs, with a brown table set. It lacked color. It may look nicer in the evenings Two members of our group ordered grilled fish and received fried breaded fish! The vegetables and my sauce were plenty but tasteless. The service was good (except for the faulty dish) but we found the prices exorbitant for what we ate.
