2nd visit to Scholars restaurant. And yet again it didn't disappoint. Every course was superb. I had the most amazing soup stater. Followed by Lancashire cheese pie, vegetables and sauce. Chocolate mousse and ice cream. My wife had Thai fish cakes starter. Beef Wellington with vegetables for main. Lemen posset for desert. All were first class food. And you can also have a nice glass of wine. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. 5 stars for us. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, you support and feedback is appreciated. We hope to see you at Scholars again soon.

There have been so many different take aways to open in this location but finally we have one that's actually good! The couple who own it are so friendly and the food is just as described! Fish chips and peas are a new Sunday tradition from the cooking pot!
