We have visited many times on a Wednesday or Thursday for lunch with a group of girlfriends and it is consistently good. Thinly sliced tomato with garlic and salt, so simple but so tasty, the best fish and seafood prepared in a variety of ways, tortillitas de camaron, grilled shrimps, croquets, sardines, etc.. all to die for. The service is friendly and attentive and the price very well balanced for the quality served. A must visit if you are in the area.

For me, the torrelodones colony does not have much to offer, but it does have tavherna. make sure to call ahead, as they only have a few tables, and it fills up quickly. the bar is tiny, and usually packed. they are known for fresh seafood, like shrimp, scallops, fish, mussels, and expensive but tasty spanish baby eels served in a ceramic dish with garlic, olive oil and cayenne flakes. also, their ensaladilla rusa is spectacular! oh, and I do love their olives that they place as an aperitif.

This restaurant is set in a beautiful old stone house and is really nicely decorated with lots of flowers inside and outside. Traditional menu with more fish and seafood than meat. We tried a bit of everything and it was really very nice. Can definitely recommend it to anyone.
