We ate at this restaurant last night because the couple we were with had had a good pasta lunch there. By 9:30 were still the only customers. In the vegetarian option, everything was fried or in a creamy sauce. Although one of the dishes contained cherry tomatoes (just a few), when I asked for some pasta with tomatoes, I was told there were none in the kitchen (so when did they prepare the food?). I ended up eating next to nothing. I do eat meat but couldn't find anything that sounded the least bit healthy or fresh with meat either. The only fish was salt cod. There were no salads or vegetable sides on the menu.The server did not try to assist me at all to find something I could eat. The other three people I was with had the vegetarian menu, and came out feeling like they'd eaten too much fried food..I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to eat healthy food.

Friendly reminders me of working man club but owner was very nice not for romantic dinner but was ok menu quite basic but was nice but not for a posh dinner

Di passaggio ci siamo fermati qui per mangiare qualcosa.Il locale è molto spartano: ipotizzo che una volta faceva solo asporto, e poi si sia allargato con un piccolo dehors in cui fermarsi a mangiare ai tavoli, che non sono apparecchiati, devi ordinare, quindi quando sei chiamato vai a ritirare quello che hai ordinato, ti prendi bicchieri, tovaglioli e posate e mangi.La scelta è veramente ampissima e spazia dalle pizze a tanti tipi di panini e a piatti più elaborati come i classici primi e secondi. Noi abbiamo preso un lampredotto al piatto e una porzione di gnocchi al pesto: lampredotto molto apprezzato, mentre agli gnocchi forse mancava qualcosa, ma in ogni casso più che passabili. Tempi di attesa medi, mentre i prezzi di alcuni piatti classici (primi e secondi) forse sono un po' alti per la tipologia di locale e poi il servizio sarà anche minimale ma almeno non si paga il coperto.

Excellent restaurant, full of locals enjoying the food , location and views. I had the beef with truffle which is amongst the best ânon Michelin â food Iâve eaten. Family had pizza which was excellent, my sons pizza Margarita was delicious. Book in advance as it was totally full when we went. Wish we had visited more than once during our stay.

The pizza here is excellent..thin base, tasty toppings and cooked perfectly. Locals call in for their takeaway pizza and I can see why.Pasta was ok. Just ok. Nothing special.Decor is plain, toilets are clean, staff are friendly. Pizza is good value but if you're underwhelmed by pasta dishes you may feel cheated.
