We went here twice during our trip (the only restaurant we visited more than once) because it was worth it. The location is right off the Medano Beach but wasnât crazy packed and didnât have hot outdoor seating. The open patio restaurant had fans running, was well shaded and clean. Food portions are large and drinks are big! The food is amazing and not over priced and the staff was very friendly and even remembered us the 2nd time we came back. Iâd definitely make another trip here if I go back to Cabo.

My name is Gale Marcotte.. During my vacation at Villa Del Arco the week of October 6-12, 2019, my boyfriend Rick and I decided to try the restaurant for dinner on Oct. 7. Our waiter was Cesar Pio. He was so pleasant and very informative regarding the menu. He suggested a few things that we tried and we were very satisfied. We enjoyed the dinner very much and both agreed to return on Oct.10. When making reservations, we asked to be seated at Cesar's section. He was surprised to see us return so soon, but we explained that we enjoyed the restaurant and his personality. After our dinner, we even spoke to him about his personal life and family. He is very proud to work there and shows it in every way. He is definitely an asset to the restaurant. We heard about this place from another guest at the hotel. We followed his recommendation and made reservation on Open Table a few days before. We took Uber there and the security is tight. The Two-Seas Tunnel is magnificent. The security knew our reservation and guided us to the restaurant.The ambiance and view was outstanding---one of the kind! We enjoyed wine and sparking water in the beginning to settle. Then the chef explained the 4 course meals for us. After selecting the main course that we preferred, the waiter guided us to our table. Front row! We watched the wave, boats, and the changing sky. It was very relaxing. The waiter, Juan, was very knowledgeable and professional about every meal. The soup was excellent with fresh seafood. But my husband doesn't like fishy smell. Juan immediately offered another option and my husband was happy. The whole meal was about 3 hours....yes, time was slow there. In the end, Juan suggested me for gold tequila. It offered with brown sugar and orange....it was very good. Great dinner with friends. We had a group of eight for dinner. The staff was very accommodating and saw to our every need. The food was outstanding. We had everything lobster, fresh fish , shrimp and steak. It was all delicious. If you are in the Cabo area I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Usually the resorts I visit have a $$$$ "fancy" restaurant and a more-casual $$ restaurant on the premises. Don Manuel's does not qualify as option #2. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet but even as part of our package it was still almost $80 daily for two of us. One look at the dinner menu prices and we decided to go into town every night for dinner (except for the night at El Farallon).Dear KEVIN M Thank you for your feedback. We are sad to read that we have not meet your expectations specially at Dinner. Our prices are in line with all the high-end Resorts in Cabo and the US. We respect your perception and we are going to consider your comments as this what help us to be better every day. Actually, the comparison to el Farallon is a little complicated as el Farallon also offers a great deal as you can dine spending from $45 USD to $60 USD on food that includes 4 courses, not many establishments of this category offers this to guests. El Peregrino is hands-down one of my favorite places to eat dinner in Cabo! The PULPO (octopus) is something I dream about, itâs like butter! Served in a mild red garlic/chili sauce, and I ask for risotto as the side dish - absolutely delicious, and under $13 2 nights a week! The shrimp fettuccine is also to die for, the shrimp are the biggest I have seen anywhere, also a bargain. Great $5 margaritas & cold cervezas, I canât wait to go back to this small, cozy restaurant!

Service was attentive and the food was delicious. We had salads, soup, fish and steaks. All were well prepared with great presentation. All had great flavor. I sampled my friends bone marrow appetizer a first time experience for me. The consistency is different but if you can get past that a very tasty item. We plan of making it a stop every time we are in town now. Oh and the price on food was low compared to the value of what you receive.
