My husband and I visited Fins last night and Iâm still dreaming about the food. Iâve never tasted food like it and we have been to some pretty superb restaurants around the world. We chose the 4 course set menu and could not fault it. AND the service was just as good. The staff were so lovely and we even got to chat to the chef. Such a romantic quaint place to dine. This dining experience should be on everyoneâs bucket list. We will be back !!! Wow thank you so much for your words!! That means the world to us to have this kind of feedback! We look forward to having you back at Fins.

We were unlucky enough to get a lunchtime table at Pipis.Told the hostess I am celiac and she said it wasnât a problem.Ordered wine and the waiter appeared cradling a chilled bottle I didnât order. He knew what I had ordered, brought it and offered a taste of both wines - one chilled and my choice at room temperature (a very warm day - and wine temperature similar).I explained to the waitress I am celiac - she wasnât familiar with the disease so I said I canât eat gluten - no wheat, oats, barley, rye or soy sauce. Another waitress brought to the table a basket of wheat grains and sourdough bread, and another basket of wheat grains with a couple of items on top, three dishes of things to enjoy on your sourdough bread or raw veg, plus salami and a pickled veg.I explained to the waitress I am celiac because she didnât know, asked if there was gluten free bread. There is no gluten free bread. She pointed out what I couldnât eat. I had raw vegetables with a dip and a couple of small slices of salami. She said all the other courses were gluten free. Bored staff quietly detailed each dish - couldn't hear anything they said. The acute diarrhea I suffered not long after I left the restaurant was an indication that there was gluten in my meal.Sorry to hear, we will take on board this feedback for staff training, communications and how our booking system takes dietary notes. We have not yet perfected a GF bread recipe so yes we don't offer it, but we do have GF options on the menu and the kitchen can adjust dishes for dietary notes.

All gluten free fish and chips with little Japanese infused. There are healthy salad choices with fish and chips, and also burgers. As everything we have in the shop is gluten free, We are ceoliac friendly shop and mostly dairy free.
New shop with very friendly staff.Cool menu - like the option of sweet potato chips . Some exciting salads available.Whiting was just ok but the Barra was perfect and the chips were crunchy, hot and salty - yum !Why don't you try some of their well thought out menu items.Well worth a visit.

Weâve been to this fish shop a few times over the years. The wait times for food are actually beyond ridiculous. The claim is the food is cooked fresh so it takes time. Iâve yet to go to a fish and chip shop that doesnât cook fresh...itâs pretty part and parcel of the territory. I was quoted a 45 minute wait the other night which became 55 minutes. The custom was moderate at the time. I actually think one order is cooked at a time - no multi tasking! Also, I tried to order by phone to save waiting at the shop. No one answers the phone...The food is actually good, but next time we camp in Pottsville weâll drive to Cabarita for fish and chips. Will be much quicker.
