The location is very close to the Palace- very good to have a bite after a long walk in the park. All the food we ordered was tasty and in good quality and quantity. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have wifi. The downside that it is in the basement, a bit dark, but good enough to catch a bite and continue your journey outside.

We came to this restaurant with friends after visiting the nearby Alexandrey Park. The restaurant looks very quaint so we expected standard tourist food - but we were pleasantly surprised. I had fish soup, pickled vegetables and my husband had Admiral salad - all were delicious and service very good. There were toys for kids so we got to relax while we ate - a bonus!

This is a Russian food restaurant, close to Peterhof palace. They offer a very good selection of classic Russian meals (think white mushrooms as an appetizer, fish soups, solyanka, venizon). Choice of hard liquor and wine is also great. Tables are set with really fine china (likely local Lomonosov factory that served the czars a century ago), utensils and cloth napkins.I was specifically impressed by the service - very professional, polite, attentive.Food prices are very reasonable, some alcohol items are overpriced, but if you look through the menu you can find ones priced just right. Don't take it as an advice against visiting, especially if you are from abroad - 3-course lunch for 4 with a bottle of wine and several shots of vodka cost me an equivalent of $125, incl. tips. Hardly you can get that kind of meal anywhere in the US even at twice the price.US-issued credit cards accepted (Visa and MC). Tips are cash-only. Menu is bilingual (Russian and English), English translation is mostly accurate. Kids menu is available.

We were led here by our tour guide Alisa of Petersburgtrip, before our entry into the Lower Park of the palace. The location was unbeatable, we really enjoyed trying the different food such as a couple of chebureki (what the English call pasties), and borscht. The prices were good; this is seemingly considered fast food within Russia but it is good by American standards of "fast food". We got very lucky and scored seats in the front corner of the enclosed patio, with windows open on a beautiful day.

As part of our private tour while in St. Petersburg, we stopped here for lunch after touring Peterhof. The restaurant is lovely - brightly painted walls, tall ceilings, and comfortable seating. We had a three-course lunch that was delicious - the borscht was the most flavorful I've ever had. Thanks to our tour operator, we also were able to share a vodka toast with our travel friends before beginning the meal - that was a lovely treat indeed. We would definitely look forward to dining here again if we're ever fortunate enough to pay another visit to St. Petersburg. And just for the sake of throwing it in ... the bathrooms were absolutely clean on the day we dined here.

We left the palace after closing time and were starving. We needed a bit to eat before grabbing an uber to where we were staying. We knew it would be slim pickings, but we were pleasantly surprised. Good house brewed draft beers. Duck leg with sauerkraut was plentiful, but it was light on the mushrooms and sauce. This restaurant will do the trick! Good strong free wifi to boot.Dear Emily M! Atmosphere is great: very cosy. It's devided it several sections, decorated differently, but it doesn't make it too bright.Really great food, but we were a big party and in the evening it took really long.We all had meat - it was excellent.You can order in advance, it should solve the problem. For a party of four i think, they'll do it fast wirhout preorder.
