I don’t drink so maybe this place has a great in-house brewery. That aside, it’s just OK for sandwiches but not a restaurant I’d go out of my way for. Sorry.BobLocal resident

Rhino's Hometown Pub

Stopped for a drink and a bite. The bartender was friendly, made great drinks and shook my had when we left. Clean and kid friendly as there were families as well. We did get to see a drunk old lady doing her best booty dance in front of the whole bar. The later it got, the more young drunk, load and verbally abusive guests came in. Its a bar, That's what happens. We are not put off by it. Would recommend.

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar

We were debating between Applebee's and McDonald's tonight... after our experience, we'll choose the Golden Arches next time. First, they were out of the first two beers my husband tried to order. He settled on Mt Dew. Applebee's lost out on a sale there - he usually drinks two beers. My side Caesar salad had a long hair in it. I tried to tell myself it was somehow a strand of my own hair... yeah, that makes it better, right? Too bad it was a different color. Yuck! I ordered the maple-mustard cedar plank salmon that's supposed to come with sauteed spinach and two sides (my choices were the Caesar side salad and mashed potatoes). The waitress delivered a shriveled, empty, dry piece of fish and a scoop of mashed potatoes on an otherwise bare plate. We had to waive frantically to get her attention to come back. When I asked her where the glaze and spinach were, she replied, "Oh, you wanted that?" I said yes, that's what I ordered. She took it back to the kitchen where they plopped some wilted (not sauteed!) spinach on the plate and provided a cup of syrupy sweet brown sauce. Now, I've been a restaurant cook before, and I whip up wonderful meals at home all the time. I know that, if they had put the glaze on the fish when it was baking, it would have sealed in some of the juices and caramelized to a toasty sweet finish. If they intended to glaze it at the end, they should have covered the thin sections of the fish with foil so they didn't turn into leather. I had to throw away a quarter of the filet because it was as dry as fish jerky. The waitress really didn't care. Maybe she's given up on expecting even 15% as a tip. Finally, my husband's steak was supposed to be cooked to medium - it was rare. Although he pointed it out to the waitress, he was afraid to send it back after seeing their "solution" to my complaint. He didn't want them to spit on his meal.
