This place is well-known for the variety of cocktails they have. They prepare them with a lot of care.The place is amazing, near an old factory in a valley between the mountains. I didn't appreciate the food, it was not too much in the dish for the price it had.

We stayed at the Hornalm as we were hiking the Southern part of the E5 in July 2013 and really enjoyed our hearty meal + beer and the fantastic scenic view! The service was great, too, everyone was very friendly and caring. We also stayed overnight (perfect accomodation for hikers, great value for money!) and were greeted with a great breakfast buffet the next morning, including cake, fresh fruit, yoghurt, muesli, a selection of spreads, cheese, ... - even though we were the only two guests that night! The owner even cooked two eggs for us. I definitively recommend the Hornalm to hikers and everyone who is looking for a great hearty meal with a breathtaking view!
