Although we couldnt speak dutch, the waitress lolly was very helpful & I had a fantastic peppered steak which was cooked perfectly, fries & salad, also got a top up of salad without charge, bar/restaurant brilliantly decorated & loved the night there !!

We had the 3 course Social deal at Marcus. The starter was cheeses and meats platter which was good. The main course was a burger however nothing special. Desert was icecream with sweets and good. So overall an ok meal but not such that we would return.

Overpriced, mediocre-tasting brews. Lackluster setting. Snobby, if not downright odd clientele -- and this is based upon 3+ separate visits. Food is also overpriced, but tasted okay. Nothing special.The staff is friendly enough, but lack the proper knowledge to be selling what purports to be "craft beer"/microbrew products. I really wanted to like this brewery, but I brew better beer than they do. And it costs me less money! Ugh.

Beer café with always more than 200 different kind of beers in stock. And also 30 kind of whisky. You can eat a simple meal, but we have lots of different snacks , warm and cold!! Also live music on a regular basis

The owners definitaly knows their beer! The pub is very welcoming and cosy. They have a really great selection of beer. The best thing is that if you have had one beer and asks for it again, they will recommend similar ones to make you try new ones instead of just serving you the same over and over again.The pub has a lot of events going on during the evenings and the owners has their own brewery: Try their beer when you are there! They also have a shop around the corner that is worth a visit.

One of many eathouses in this small historic town. Inside a beautiful wooden pub interior, outside a large terrace on the canalbridge for sunny days. The menu is extensive: meat, fish and vegetarian, mainly Dutch and international dishes. Large portions of meat and potatoes, short on veggies. Reasonable prices. Veal liver and codfish dishes recommended.

Located on the N228 - which you should try as an alternative to the fast but busy motorways! Almost drove past it, but decided to stop. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and great food. Don't just drive past this place, stop and enjoy!
