Differdange (Luxembourgish: Déifferdeng pronounced [ˈdɜɪ̯fɐdeŋ], German: Differdingen) is a commune with town status in south-western Luxembourg, 17 miles (27 km) west from the country's capital. It lies near the borders with Belgium and France and it is located in the canton of Esch-sur-Alzette. With a population of around 26,000, Differdange is the country's third largest city. It is also the main town of the commune, and other towns within the commune include Lasauvage, Niederkorn, and Oberkorn.

Excellent adress to enjoy any kind of sports event ! Very nice concept, and i love the fact that you have a perfect view on a screen, no matter where youâre sitting. The place has a nice terrace on the front and even a big playground for kids on the backside. The atmosphere during the world cup was awesome. Canât wait to see how it will be for the champions league. In my opinion the best place in the south to visit if you want to spend a good time with friends in a bar/restaurant.

BEI DER GIEDEL war ein absolut klassisches Lokal, etwas auÃerhalb von Differdange gelegen(Lasauvage) - es gab gutes Raclette und andere KÃ¤semenÃ¼s. Leider ist von diesem Charme nichts mehr zu finden - keine Empfehlung falls Ambiente und Style gefragt sind. Ein ganz schlichtes Restaurant.

Le cadre est agrÃ©able et le service est ok. Par contre nous n'avons pas bien mangÃ©. La salade Ã©tait noyÃ©e dans la vinaigrette, les scampis nageaient dans l'huile, etc. De plus il y avait une erreur de plat dans la commande. C'est vraiment dommage mais nous n'y retournerons plus. Cela aurait Ã©tÃ© pratique et sympa avant ou aprÃ¨s un happening culturel, mais bon mieux vaut marcher un peu.

I am a regular at the SchrÃ¤inerei, and what I appreciate most besides the excellent food & drinks (veggie & vegan options included!) is the impeccably friendly service. Defo a place I'd recommend. Tip: if you go for dinner, the volume of the music is increased at around 10pm to switch over to party mood, so not the best place if you want to chat til midnight or have a romantic dinner.
