I met up with a friend here and we lamented the state of craft beer in Peru in 2015. Because since then, it´s grown exponentially, and the country offers plentiful in the way of delicious beers. And Cuatro Once showcases a lot of them! The food was also great. Highly recommend the anticuchos de pulpo. The taquenos were tasty. But I can´t write more than a sentence before coming back to the selection of beers here -- Magdalena, Sierra Andina, Maddok, Invictus, and more.

I got back to Chiclayo and stopped here for a juice, ended up with a scoop of fruit ice cream that was quite tasty. Juice varieties are a little thin this time of year, but the pina was great.

We strolled around the Grau park until the Taller opened and then came in to see a good variety of bottled and barrel beers. We tried all the porters and stouts (3). The Jack Vled Gomez Porter was fabulous. We ordered a half Marguerita/half Pepperoni family sized pizza. It came out of the oven hot and crispy, thin crust with a good sauce. The Pepperoni half was better. The service was excellent, really friendly and helpful and the music was good but really loud.
